Psst don't tell, the Dj Rob & Tim B Remix is a hidden gem ..

Easily one of the best releases of 1997 for sure.
Imo it stands for the start of a sort of resurrection of hardcore/gabber with more influences of techno and focus on details and the kickdrum. A few slow "new style" releases were already put out, but ... See full review

First, the man has never been a dj, second, besides Ruffneck, the artists you mention have mainly operated in a different area of hard electronic stuff. Comparing apples with pears as we say in NL..

If you let a pressing factory press these tracks yourself you can make big $$$ i guess? since there is not any reference ro this being an official canceled ID&T release or something?

If there is one underrated Mokum release to name, this one is the first that comes to my mind. The Hard Way is typical for that energetic 95/96 Mokum Records style. Also contains some more bouncy tracks, which totally represent the fun part in gabber at ... See full review

Substance Abuse is just an 11 out f 10. Much more words than this are not necessary in my opinion.

No nonsense gabber mayhem by Traffik. Never understood the lesser popularity of this record in comparison to his other output. The alternating kickdrum in Afraid of the Dark raises all my hairs and destroys any room if played on a descent sound system. ... See full review

The title track has heavy sampling of Vitamin - Cosmic Trash on Mokum Records.
Very poor mastering on this. The kick appears powerless and the track even looses volume after a few minutes.
The other tracks don't make up for this if you're into early ... See full review

The level of pure straight underground hardcore of this record is just insane as you look at the year of release.
Easily blew most efforts coming out of Holland - Usa out of the water at that time.
Push the button had to be one of the hardest and fastest ... See full review

What appears to be strange to me is that there is stated that it's never officially released because
"the hardcore hype was over".
This sounds like a strange conclusion since this record was released in 1996,
with another highlight year 1997 of ... See full review

The main riff in Aggravated Violent Assault is fully ripped from Dj Bountyhunter - Demilitarized Zone.

Overall a Nice release however..

A bit undervalued EP for sure, it's a steal like other Cellblock X material.
Unfortunately it's victim of dodgy mastering, like some other Hard Stuff/Rave Records output.

In my opinion the point ain't the lack of quality of his productions or something,
because this will remain a point of personal taste.

Besides that it's a fact that almost all of his records ended up in de sale-sections in famous record shops
all over ... See full review

This is another acidcore/hardtrance effort by Mr. Steen.
3 of 4 tracks are ok but mediocre and sound quite familiair if you are known with his style.
W.S.H.B.R. 2 takes it to another level, it begins very Steen-like with a big kickdrum and burping acid ... See full review

Rougher & Tougher is a massive track, nice tempo, nice breakbeats, great samples
Unfortunately the mastering is more worse than any other record i know from this era

Even with the high and mid on absolute max is refuses to sound clear

This first (and one of the best) Mokum release is actually far from the "happy hardcore" style.
"De Skippybal" is just a gimmick, but no happy hardcore!
The track "Cosmic Trash" is actually one of the hardest and brutal gabber tracks of it's time... Even ... See full review
