Buyer information:

Please read below. I'm doing this to avoid grading issues. If you do not feel comfortable going through the sale after reading this, please contact me. I'm sure we can work something out. My solid buyer rating speaks for itself.

The Goldmine standards listed here on Discogs are my guide: https://www.discogs.com/selling/resources/how-to-grade-items/

I've been at this since I was a teenager in the late 80s/early 90s (or as my son says, "the 1900s"). I do recognize we're all human and have different ways to interpret the site standards (Goldmine). But there's gray area, and then there's clear error.

I humbly request that you:
Grade your records under DIRECT LIGHT.
Grade conservatively. It avoids problems.
Play-grade if possible, especially if the record is going for > $25.

VG+ records are just shy of NM;
NM are in like-new condition, played once or twice then shelved;
M are sealed or unopened.
VG has a handful of minor surface scratches and has been used, but after a cleaning will sound great overall, even in headphones, minus crackle or one or two pops.
G+ will be heavily used, and have a lot of surface noise which will be unavoidable, even after cleaning.

I will not return records to you for a refund if the records do not match the standards. I will request a small partial refund to match the proper grade. I'm glad to provide pics and sound files. I think everything can be worked out with rational and polite conversation.

Thanks!

Brilliant and absorbing music, mostly for listening and a handful of dance/movement-oriented tracks.... Think a blend of ECM, Windham Hill, Wally Badarou, Jan Hammer, Trisomie 21's Plays the Pictures filtered through the perspective of artists steeped... See full review

Just one of those bands I never dug into and "discovered" until much later, like 12 years ago later, even though I'd almost certainly heard their Last Song in any number of goth/industrial club nights in the early 90s.... I even had "Plays the... See full review

A masterpiece, the originality and quality on display here are pretty legendary. Diverse flavor and vibes on offer here, too. The title track is worth at least 2 or 3 repeated listens in a row before it gets somewhat ready to be left alone. The rest... See full review
