This is a cracking techno album- coherent, varied and consistently good. The tunes are absolutely pounding but also contain plenty of dynamic drama and surprise, with a few ambient interludes to break the tension.

Lovely sounding pressing- rich and warm with a wide range. The music is wonderful as well of course. Hum-Allah-Hum-Allah-Hum-Allah is a catchy vocal track with an ecstatic solo finale, while Sun In Aquarius is a deep spiritual jazz odyssey with more... See full review

I'm not a hip-hip fan really but I love this album and it still sounds great in 2020.

Five stars for the music. It deserves better than this horrible pressing, which is quiet and laden with surface noise. Not that I've heard an original to compare it to.

The first piece here is another outstanding work by Chris Watson, and one of the first he’s released in some time. Taken from field recordings of a forest in Costa Rica it’s a typically fine work of recording and editing, and one of Watson’s most... See full review

Superb album that was clearly an important influence on Current 93. Spooky, minimal and psychedelic folk rock with electronic washes adding much to the atmosphere. One of the very best Krautrock albums, but for some reason largely obscure.

Lovely merger of the Kompakt 'shuffle' style and melodic Kosmische/Krautrock sounds. It's been a regular on my turntables for 12 years now.

While there's nothing here as exciting as the two versions of Touch Absence on the previous EPs this is another excellent release. The music is more abstract than before, and somewhat reminiscent of late 90s Autechre, but with cutting edge 2019... See full review

A staggering record. While every track is excellent Touch Absence is simply an instant classic that works brilliantly on the dancefloor as well as the headphones. The production is razor sharp on every sound.

A beautiful and haunting soundtrack. Can't comment on how it works in the film but it works just great as a piece of home listening

This is a truly excellent record seamlessly merging traditional Greek music with modern electronic production. Importantly, the tunes are powerful and memorable. Unfortunately, it didn't get half the attention it deserved- maybe it'll be a future cult classic? See full review

This is a corker- experimental drum and bass/electronica- was always surprised it never got picked up on properly

Lovely drone piece in which a cello refrain is slowly transformed into walls of distortion

One of the very best records I own, and I own a lot. Perfect packaging too. Picked it up for what I thought was quite a lot - 20 pounds back in 2007. Worth every penny and many more.

It's the Superpitcher mix for me. Still sounds great, with its combination of tension and emotional release, and it would still fit nicely into a modern progressive house set.

The bonus 7" is a rather lovely track, with a spooky Boards of Canada feel to it.

I absolutely love this record and have done for over 25 years. The best thing Global Communications ever did?

Wonderful repress and remaster. Music is great too - an early 90s electronica classic I remember from smoky bedrooms. Worth the wait.

Picked this up in the Warp Records store in Sheffield when it first came out and always thought it was a fantastic EP. Wave Dub the highlight but all 4 tracks very good.

The Underworld remix may well be their best, an epic prog-house/techno stomper

Couldn't agree with you more. Followed your advice after finding this in a second hand record store and googling it to find out what it was. It's a stone cold classic- one of the greatest electronic albums of the era. I#d describe it as somewhere... See full review

Is this really 20 years old? One of the greatest electronica albums of all time in my view- timeless and beautiful. Surprised it isn't better known.

I bought this LP after finding it in the bargain bin of a Virgin Megastore for 2.99 in 1994. The band were deeply unfashionable at the time as grunge and britpop displaced shoegaze. It's a classic obviously.

I don't understand why this isn't a better known album - it didn't even seem to get reviewed in most places. It deserves attention- an excellent mixture of raw sounding tech house and more experimental cuts.
