There were a few stamped whites in the bunch. Sonique 2019 is the biggun and probably one of the last major tunes to dominate clubs around the world before COVID-19 really hit hard. Making this timeless track extra special.

I think he did all of them and put this out as an unofficial Classic release, the catalog # gives it away.

Awesome rave-y comp from Japan, if I had to guess I'd say this came out around 1996.

A :: 136BPM. moving progressive hard house scorcher.
B1 :: 144BPM. '93 style pumping warehouse hard trance/techno!!
B2 :: 123BPM. lovely kinda M.A.W.-style sunny but... See full review

Randomly found the vocal source just now – it's a lovely song in Scots or Scottish Gaelic language from the 1995 film "Rob Roy" starring Liam Neeson, at approximately 48:00min.

Can confirm it's the 9:50 version, and a tasty acid techno rave-bomb indeed.

OG Renaissance mix retains its 'ultimate' status but the Beach House mix here is quality 'round-midnight club filler indeed. The sort of tune you might go past because its not amazing on first listen, but it's always wise to keep some of these tracks... See full review

Killer producer, one of my favourites and a constant go-to when playing out. Like his Primate Recordings labelmate, the similarly underrated Jel Ford, Bando has a signature style.. you can always tell it's his track within a few bars. He's one of... See full review

Amazing album...

Ten years after Jonny & Jacob's "The Drums" first stunned and captured our hearts (way back in 2009!!!) we could have forgiven the former if he had simply come full circle on this latest now-solo LP, with a nice summary of what the... See full review

Fantastic early house EP from the dynamic duo A².

Whereas a lot of the Alien stuff employed a more rigid & 'cold' atmosphere (despite many tracks warping into something quirkily upbeat and funky) this is a warm mix of deep & tech house firmly... See full review

Buyers of this version beware.. the right channel of audio (on my copy at least) is unlistenable due to distortion. This occurs over the entire CD, so try to get a sample from the seller if you can.

Funnily enough, Bootek had almost the exact same idea as A1 here, on BOOTEK13 in 2006 (Renegade Master / Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'). Daisychain's mix is the harder of the two, but both are groovy and fun.

Absolutely brilliant release. Smart, groovy, and very sexy (especially B2 'Metaphor'). This is a very fine example of the no-frills upbeat semi-tribal Detroit sound from this era.

This is without a doubt Robert's most cohesive and stunning full-length under his own name.

A2 is such a cool, delectable deep groove experience. Undeniably oldskool but with a timeless, airy sexuality, very reminiscent of Dream 2 Science and every bit as good.

Nice abstract dubby downtempo from Godhead, but Jackal's tracks are what you need this for.

"40 Million Daggers" (115 BPM, though the video I uploaded to youtube is pitched up +8%) is a great little intelligent broken-beat groover which sifts fluidly... See full review

"Dirtbag" is a MASSIVE tune, got to be one of the best hard techno tunes of 1996. A must for any lover of pure, sweaty, dirty, headbanging techno.

"Gunslinger" manages to follow nicely on the flip with a driving, entrancing club workout. "Draw" is a... See full review

Gotta give this one 5 stars for the hard plink-plonk whomper that is C1 "Argynine".

There are two exceptional quirky/raw/druggy techno crowdpleasers in A2 "Guaninine" & B1 "Glutamate" as well.

This is a fantastic record. "Hi Sexy" marries the deep, sexy jazz-stained grooves of Hanna with a sort of 'sensible tech house' championed by acts like the Cab Drivers to great effect. If St. Germain's French Traxx EP was served as a main course,... See full review

"Aquatic" is the jam here... bleeps & bass BOMB with strong pre-95 Detroit/Euro techno influences.
