"Blitz" is it for me here. Smoth elegant roller, very laid back vibe but still aiming at the floor. The Photex remix is a bit of a filler, straight 2 step rhythm pattern and not much else going on.

The Original "Terrorist" came out mid '94, however some of the big tunes got remixed a few years later and those amen workouts on the "Lemon D" Remix sound very 1995, possibly early96 to me.

These are indeed two excellent Remixes. A bit overlooked as it seems as well. Hardly ever turns up in playlists back from the day.

I'd say it's from early 1993, it happens to appear in some playlists from march/April '93

"Erazer" is the one on this 12" - a dubby heavyweight groover. Excellent early work of Dub-master Amit.

2020 was a very good year for Metalheadz - at least regarding high quality releases - like this one. Also Digital on form.

The A-Side is an early example of the emerging "Darkness"- sound in what soon would become Jungle.

"Subway" is the one. Absolutely embodies '96 dark Junge/Techstep. One of the best tunes of the era.

The Seba Remix is absolutely brilliant DnB. Awesome and highly recommended

Indeed, such a beautiful track. Polska released gems only. Too bad he was into breaky DnB not for much longer.

An excellent TechStep-release by an artist who is/was normally releasing Trance and Techno.

"One of them" is the track to look for. Great drum workout.

"Alien Planet" is where it's at. Superb dubby tune with cool breaks

Back in the day every big-name dj under the sun used to spin "The Code", which is just boring-ish distorted 2step DnB.
The real gem is "Fugitive" on the flipside, though. At least to me. |

"No Escape " is the track that makes this record worthwile.

These are great, heavy, heavy tunes - Alpha Omega aka Colin Lindo, what an underrated yet brilliant producer. Rave Delight is brilliant, Congo Dub still very, very good. Excellent release!

This is excellent TechStep - will there be a little bit of a techstep revival going on soon?

Quite versatile release, from Nuerofunk(-ish) to breakbeat-oriented tracks. Also varying in tempo. All in all, a solid release.

Was definitley released (or at least the full release) in early 2000 as I was buying records like mad around that time and very well remember getting this in spring 2000

The Jonny L track is superb, a classic. Too bad it's so little known

This was one of my fav compilations/Albums of 2014. Very, very good stuff, especially considered this was/is available for free on the bandcamp page.

This masterpiece was on any good mixtape in late 1992, early 1993. A seriously heavyweight tune which is the aural equivalent of a steamroller. Absolute classic, can be dropped still more than 20 years after it's release and still sounds absolutley...

Tracks from early 1995, and in so far also very typical for that era, when "artcore" arrived and got media coverage. At the same time tho, ragga jungle still ruled the dancefloors very much. nice drum programming, and some jazzy vibes for quieter moments.

A solid, laid back release for more quiet moments. Good tracks for building up a set again towards more powerful releases. This record is well done, but it's not a dancefloor burner. Nevertheless such records are also necessary for building diverse sets.
