Has anyone heard both pressings? five more words are needed.

Not sure if I am understanding correctly, but there are a lot of cassettes, over the years, that have the same music on both sides. This lets the piece be listened to in its entirety without having to flip. So then the question is, do you leave the other ... See full review

When is this coming out? Does anyone have any info? I pre-ordered and am getting no response from Acoustic Sounds.
I'm getting gun-shy with pre-orders after Soundstage went bankrupt and owes me a Making Movies...

Whats the verdict? Has anybody compared this with other releases?

Sounds like its a tracking issue / cartridge alignment. Don't think tracking force changes based on relative position of the stylus? Alignment issues can pop up as you get closer to the label. I'm not an expert, though. I'd check some forums.

Yeah its a little sad that people buy 2 (the orders were restricted to 2 per person) then post one of their copies for double so they can cover their cost and end up with one for free. Shame.

Thanks for the heads up. I seem to be coming across loads of sibilance across various releases lately (including the double pressing of Bruce's Tunnel of Love). Always a bummer.

A bit sibilant, some harshness. Aside from that, it's great.

Some boomy bass here and there (not through out) but it's still a great listen. Found the slightly off booms on So Many Millions kinda odd. Mid range may be a bit thin, but good soundstage like the horn interlude in the middle of Housework. Quiet vinyl ... See full review

Use your time and your intelligence to promote albums you like, maybe? Everyone should check out this guys comment history. I mean, if you want to be depressed. At least this one wasn't copy-pasted from another review you made, so there's that.

+1 Great album but yes. Its flat. Especially noticeable at the end of the last track. Compression.

I was just at Rough Trade in Brooklyn and they just got a 2nd order in because previous order was warped and this new order was warped too - at least many of them were.

My side A is quite noisy and a warp too. Side B sounds 100x better. Might exchange it back at the shop. Seems like a temperamental pressing.

Forgetting specific recordings, generally speaking, is this recording preferred in mono or stereo? Or is it more of personal preference?
