Such a music journey, this one! Favorite tracks at the moment are Hoolock Rock and News From the Treetops but the hole thing is brilliant really. The break in News From The Treetops is just....ufff. Be right back from deep space.

This album is a perfect contemporary rendition of 90's ambient, breakbeat and downtempo. In the last 5 years, we have been listening to a wide diversity of records inspired by these same music styles from a new wave of producers and although there...

Some artists get stuck in time and only enjoy some attention in a short period, usually around the time they release music and shortly after that they return to obscurity. Pascal Schafer seems to be one of those artists. His small output is enjoyable,...

Any news on Joia Rara vol.2? It seems it wont come out at this point? It had such a great tracklist.

I have to agree with bellow comments, this album could do a vinyl reissue. Its a wonderful listening experience from star to finish in the realms of ambient music with two of the greatest ambient producers of all time. I wonder how many great ambient...

Judging by the cover of the album you would never guess the breezy sunny music inside of it. From start to finish Zarenzeit takes us on a journey through lush pads, vintage synth action and smart voice sampling with strong influences from mid 90's...

Mixmaster Morris - The Monring After brought me here although i should have checked Justice side projects and colabs when i bought "Viewpoints", he's first album and also criminally overlooked. What can be added to previous reviews? Not much, its...

How good is this record? Dj.Booth aka OCB from Casa Voyager fame, releases one of the freshest machine made soul of recent times with a surprising jazzy edge for a sonic journey into the future without forgeting the past of electro funk, breakbeat and house.

This is the first full ep from Clang83 who had only made a few appearences in the past. In here he explores the full scope of his dancefloor vision with 4 diverse tracks. My favorites are both in the A side with "keep on reaching" 90's old school...

A very fine example of a record that sits comfortably under the balearic umbrella with that japanese fusion edge, combining jazz and brazilian elements with electronic experimentation that has hints of the jazzier Flanger productions. Seems to have...

Off course Future Beat Alliance always delivers the goods, but its not possible to talk about this record without referring the wonderful John Tejada mix. What a belter with all the right elements. Strong, beat driven, with pulsating bass and an...

Jump Source recently released a nice new ep in Pacific Rhythm and this one, their first, will be getting a new round of attention and rightly so. For me, a fan of this new generation of deep ambient house infused with early 90's references such as...

Warm, soothing, timeless experiments in jazz. An absolute pleasure to listen from start to finish. No wonder Alfa Mist is being hailed has a key element in the new London jazz movement. Not sure if this is a limited repress or not, but in any case,...

This record....doesnt get much better than this. What a great example of how to use dance music heritage and create something new, refreshing and timeless. Hype seems to be on but quality is skyrocketing.

Sun soaked balearic boogie heaven to my ears. This is the perfect summer soundtrack altough it will sound great any time, anywhere. Timeless music from the great Cosmic Chronic highly collectible record label.

Reissue of "everyday Life", "lets party tonight", "what a surprise" and "all nite tonight" in Cree records in February. This label has been quietly reissuing some killer records!

Super fun and highly playable ep from Roy Davis Jr covering different shades of chicago house. Each tune does its own trick, from the deeper rolling A1 and B1 to the ruffer acidic and techno oriented A2 and B2, you can do no wrong with this ep.

Have to agree with both comments bellow, Nitevision 2111 is a wonderful electroish tune highly suitable for those end of the night deep emotional moments. For the perfect mixing, two copies would be the best, palying 2110 first followed by 2111 for...

Impressive compilation ranging from techno soul to spaced brokenbeats/breakbeats. There isnt a single duff track in here. "Soul In Motion" is also a great shortcut to some expensive records in their original form such as Art Forest (aka Techno Soul),...

The Livy Ekemezie edit was probably responsible for the instant price escalation but the track that already stood the test of time is "missing you". Although the Ekemezie tune is a stand out in the nigerian boogie frenzie, "missing you" is the kind of...

Not all music should be repressed because theres comercial interest, i agree. I'm just saying that records that were already repressed, such as the under the influence" series, shouldnt be limited. Represses that come out through the proper channels...

Absolutly essential piece of wax. Not many records can claim this quality and timeless stamp.

Yes, this is probably a bootleg label feeding mostly on the absent represses of those official "under the influence" compilations now going for bunkers money. Cant blame this label really, the root of the problem is in not repressing official reissues...

Not sure, its gone on BBE and Juno and everywhere. Cant believe they repressed such a small amount of copies. It looks like some dead stock find to me. If its not a proper repress, i cant only deeply regret i didnt bought it yesterday....

Discovered this record just in time before the bubble burst. What a great ep. After a couple listens it becomes an instant favorite classic. Beach Comber and Green Tea (re-edit) are two slices of immersive deep house, with deep pads, nice crisp beats...

This record deserves a vinyl repress edition. I have some 12" from them which include some of the album tracks but the full album is great really. The music is so up to date it hurts to see it forgotten in time and only available in cd or digital....
