Great sound for an Unofficial recording. Probably SBD firsts generations.  Very pleasant.

I do not own any gear to take picture.  I live enough far that there is no cellular network here and I see it as heaven.

not a Bad Seeds release imo.

Even slow ballads from the superbs Murder Ballads or The Boatman's Call rocks compared to this where Nick Cave is more often speaking than singing. I generously give this one star because he raised the... See full review

Reckoning is a good accoustic album.  From the same shows, Dead Set is the electric part.
For more acoustic material from the same shows, Grateful Dead Productions are also selling The Warfield, San Francisco, CA 10/9/80 & 10/10/80.

Excellent soundboard recording but not from 30, July 1970.  For the Maui 30, July 1970, see Maui, Hawaii.

Despite the very average quality of the recording, we have here a musical performance worthy of note: many moments make me smile with each listening. More albums like this one would improve the interest of these archives.

The Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack, recorded 1974, is one of the most easy, clean and complete introduction to this band live from '60's to '1975. Add a live recording from 1978 or better, 1977, and this will be enough for an introductory look to the live history.
For the... See full review

Because it is a version of "Magic" so you have to select "Magic" to see it.
BtW, the sounf on "Magic" is muffled and "Magic Two" is an attempt to correct this but "Magic" sounds live and entertaining and "Magic Two" sounds dead and boring.

Good repertoire but cold and uninspired performance. Sounds like a re-recording with studio musicians who learned their parts last night. Only for the completist. 2/5

Dualdisc is the worst innovation since the flip over sticker seal US manufacturers are putting on jewelcases.

The mixing by Hugh Hopper add, IMO, a great value to this recording. Compare to the others Brainville releases, even if the recording is not highly professional, this mix warrant a nice punch.

As I am not very much into blues, for me blues album mostly sounds identical (with notable exceptions I have to admit), I prefer Blues-Jazz or Blues-Rock where the playing is more often distinctive.  But this Luther Johnson album is notable.
