Try playing 'Vacuum Boogie' at 33rpm, you might like it. You catch many details without the track to feel off. Can put you in a zone actually even more than at 45 rpm.

Sounds really great on the soundsystem, very round and full. Can't wait to see what comes next from Vumbuka Records.

Chill a minute: the record is released by Salsoul Records, the track is obviously a licensed remix, and a great one. Salsoul is a long-lasting label (created 1975) showing here taste for the contemporary, Pangaea being a very percussive artist in his own ... See full review

Superb release, singular "white" techno, precise and raw. DJ Nature's take on Ambivalent could become a classic just as his most recent remix of the track Steady Jam by Sad City (on Meda Fury/Emotional Response).

Sadly, not much hype around this record ... See full review

Classic house hidden treasure, stompy and catchy, without overbearing vocals. The 'Billy's Blast Off' version is the one, the other versions having a darker tone that will not suit every tastes. Found at 'Heartbeat', one of the best record store in Paris ... See full review

Utterly original tracks blending tropical sounds for pleasurable rides. This is for curious listeners but I'm pretty sure a good dj can enlighten a crowd with these treasures. I'm very eager to hear what comes next from these producers so if you read ... See full review

I asked myself the same question : after finding the lengh of each track via Spotify I managed to get that side A is the one with the silhouette on the sticker. "Kikuchiyo's Mambo" is the fourth track of side A and the most memorable moment on this ... See full review

I found this record in the sleave of the LP To Each... by a Certain Ratio (which I bought for the track Winter Hill, a masterpiece). Only now I realise it's a side project of the same band. Well, this "bonus" 12" brings two clean instrumental tracks ... See full review

A beautiful composition in both its original form and with the Harvey twist (note: my version of the EP does not contain the Prins Thomas and Tuff City Kids remixes, I've listened to these tracks and found them well-done but too far from the original ... See full review
