Yes they were. There are quite a lot of copies out there without the fold-over. In fact, if anyone has a fold-over for sale pm me.

This is the worst remastering in the history of hardcore. Sucked all the life out of the original. Shame on you NRA for decimating one of the best HC records ever!

Box 3 was never made. The UM is not the 3rd box. We distributed and assembled these at the time on behalf of Bunker so straight from the horses mouth. I don't know where they got their information from or who put it there but it's wrong. These... See full review

Coloured vinyl is pretty much the same price to make as black. Maybe 20 cents per unit more depending on the amount. Its the lamest excuse for a price raise ever.
GISM* - Death Exclamations
posted a review of GISM* - Death Exclamations. 4 months ago
This was cool when it came out in '91 and the sound quality is decent. Back then the original vinyl was rare as balls in Europe and the US. You obviously don't need this for the music anymore, but it's a nice artefact anyway with inspired packaging.... See full review

Now this is how you put together compilations: no fillers, fantastic sound, great pressing. Possibly better than the originals. Essentially this whole series is essential.

Indeed a cool track list, but all tracks are cut from their original length so buyer beware
Asda - Three Tracks
posted a review of Asda - Three Tracks. 5 months ago
A rare and poignant social commentary in the form of a track that perfectly expresses the mind numbing boredom and futility of a mundane dreary existence on a council estate somewhere up NORF. Spud U Like is the best track of 2015!

Various - Drum & Bass Selection 5 (Watch The Ride - Part 5 - Rinse Out)
posted a review of Various - Drum & Bass Selection 5 (Watch The Ride - Part 5 - Rinse Out). 5 months ago
Rinse out the register it's time to cash in. Sound quality is terrible, but I guess if you're used to 480 Youtube clips it sounds decent enough. Low volume, no dynamics, way too much crammed on each side. Double CD might be ok though, haven't heard it.

Sigh, at 5 12"es per side this just sounds awful.
Various - Drum & Bass Selection 4 (Reload - Part 4 - Running It Red)
posted a review of Various - Drum & Bass Selection 4 (Reload - Part 4 - Running It Red). 5 months ago
This would've been nice as a six pack, now the pressing is just awful. About 12db lower than a normal 12" and without any dynamics. Crank it up and you'll just hear a ton of background noise, and don't even attempt to play these on a bigger system... See full review

Atomic Dog - Natural Born Killers / Cosmic Jam
posted a review of Atomic Dog - Natural Born Killers / Cosmic Jam. 5 months ago
Natural Born Killers is a real jump up classic. Produced by semi legend T-Power, it steers well clear of the corniness sometimes associated with the subgenre and it is way more musical than most of the hoempapa bass-fart Jungle that started to emerge... See full review

Records can be cut louder at 45 rpm. There is a time limit though, if a side is over around 10 minutes it usually has to be cut at 33. It all depends a bit on the space between the grooves.

Released by a heavy handed bunch. If you ordered these boots by mail order they wrote your name in it saying "I sold this record for 4$$ ppd to [insert name] Please complain if you paid more." Nice price to be fair. Also they put in a bunch of... See full review

I think this came out of Switzerland, not Germany. These bootleggers did a few others (like Negative Approach – Live At Newton Theatre 7") which were then used as a vehicle for their political propaganda of choice. Like most of late 80's early 90's... See full review

Ultra noise freakshow from the sewers, like Whitehouse mating with The Monkeys in a swimming pool filled with goo goo muck. If flies could negotiate, this would be on their agenda for sure.

It's quite possible this record wasn't played by human beings. Gauze set a new standard in tightness here, leaving their (not to sneeze at) peers in the dust. This sounds like a sped up version of Nightmare, Bastard, Death Side and themselves. I know... See full review

The UK answer to TSOL (or is it the other way around?). Black Cat sounds like a lost take from the Weathered Statues sessions. Pretty neat proto Goth/Death Rock with obvious Damned and Siouxsie influences.

MIA is the winner here, raw & catchy So-Cal HC and a total classic that can hold it's own against the Samoans, Red Kross etc. I Hate Hippies is one of the Great Punk Hits. Genocide are a bit more generic sounding, mainly due to sloppy production. The... See full review
