I listened to the first side and really enjoyed the sound quality. Flipped it over to find that the side B label was stamped onto the grooves. The store took it back and swapped it for another copy. I got it home, and when I opened it up, I found... See full review

Leaving aside the delays that affected this, it is a nicely done package. Mine is #832.

Sounds great, looks awesome. My preference would have been for a 2x12 45RPM version with no bonus materials, but setting that aside, it's a very nice package of one of the greatest metal albums ever recorded.

Dreamy, ethereal, and reminiscent of the most romantic 1960s/1970s aesthetic, this is an amazing piece of vinyl. The perfect soundtrack for a contented day.

Put me in the "sounds like a third generation cassette" camp on this pressing. The material, which is groundbreaking, deserves better.

Otherwise, it's a very detailed... See full review

I am shocked at how much better this record sounds than every other version of the album I have heard. Guitar parts that blend together on the others are clearly separate. The bass is distinct, with every note audible. Little touches that I had... See full review

Wonderful sounding record. I'm fairly new to the band, so I'm not one to pine for the "old Mastodon" sound, though I love every record they have put out. That said, I do feel like they did a really good job of combining the best aspects of the early,... See full review

Great album from start to finish. My copy had a significant skip during the first track, but I was able to clear the debris without doing any damage using a toothpick. Once that was done, there were no more issues. Just a great record.

Yes, it is 180g - though it is not marked as such anywhere I can see. But you can definitely feel it.

The sound is outstanding to my ear.

I guess I lucked out. My copy sounds fantastic - it may be the best sounding record in my collection.
