Sounds like A1-Tubejazz is "inspired" by Cristian Vogel's Shoe Renounce Soul track; or just using the same sample

Harness Technology is a fantastic soundscape, unfortunately somehow suffering from the bad pressing with cracks. The other two tracks are dark electro monsters, reminiscent of Drexciya.

Pretty bad pressing with clicks and plops, and almost no bass. The run out inscription reads SPOOM 008, pretty weird. Stay away from this (unofficial) copy.

It can hardly be called inspiration, more a rip-off of the Wayne Shorter's Ping-Pong.
The original jazz track is often played by Art Blakey and its band, with Wayne Shorter on saxophone, back in the early 60s.

Three themes on this nice ep by the Belgium based SAS.
"Pilot" is a solid dancefloor piece, which contains all elements to be a Robert Hood track. "Septim" starts with pretty nervous sounds, but when the drumkick comes in, a dj track is born.

The best track here is the original Spike. From start to finish it sounds fast and deep. To emphasize again: this track sounds deep. The layers of sound come and go, sometimes obvious, but the majority comes in sneaky. Hidden sounds are all over, though ... See full review

The track-name "Plonk" is most likely meant as a reference to the label Plink Plonk, as "Plonk" sounds like a deep remix of Ian Pooleys "Next to Nowhere" ep, released on Plink Plonk in 1996.

The haunting bassline of the Dub-version is a real speaker ... See full review

Deepah created a complicated track with Wite Lite. Moody strings, original drum patterns, 303 bassline and uplifting percussion are the main ingredients. The track as a whole reminds to Dan Curtin productions in his early career.

Deep pounding rhythms, ambient synths, complex hi-hats structures and waves of acid are the ingredients of both tracks. Eloquence is monotone and experimental, contrary to Salacious, which is building up, varies in tempo and contains some nice breaks. ... See full review

Carl Craig's mix of Serena 'X' is pressed +4 speed compared to the original pressing on Buzz Records. Also the track starts without the beatless intro. Unfortunately the whole pressing sounds poor and dull; the timeless tracks deserve better.

Jake Mandell delivers a fine 12"; though the winning track is the inspiring and fresh Monolake remix. The remix has a Drum&Bass structure with tunnel effects, strongly reminds to the track 'Cern' of Monolake's album 'Momentum'.

Worthwhile to mention ... See full review

A great Dan Curtin release. Acid, strings and complex rhythms. Worth looking for it
