Listen to these losers below wanking on about a fucking mix CD. This is everything that's wrong with Progressive House. Like Progressive Rock, it's a load of over analysed old nonsense pored over to a ridiculous extreme by daft cunts. Raves were supposed ... See full review

It's that track off Slam's World DJ Day 2002 broadcast and if you're reading this you've figured it out too. Well done brother, your quest ends here.

Big Fathers of Sound influence here, you'd even mistake it for them if you didn't know already.

He just played it, lots of people did. It's a Marc Auerbach (Bump) track not Dave Seaman.

Underrated gem here. Go directly to Man of Steel for a deceptively simple, rocking club workout.

The original mix is such a tune. Perfect to come up to. If only it had been released in '91 and not 2001.

A criminally overlooked Jel Ford/Oscar Charlie produced, Mr Sliff-esque, bassline-driven, Billy Nasty supported serving of dark Techno.

Huge Irish House anthem via Italy. Samples Nitzer Ebb's 'Let Your Body Learn' too.

Snowballs - MDA imported from Eastern Europe during 1992-3. The perfect accompaniment for this track.

I have both this and La Real. Is this a remix of La Real? It's always confused me.

I can't remember the number/name of the preset, I sold my Microkorg recently.

As with almost all Progressive DJs' sets - just as it gets going; it's over.

Another confirmation here, the last third of the record has a catastrophic issue that renders the Bedrock dub useless for anyone using it to mix with.

I love how irrational people are, this is just the dumbest thing. Sasha, Seaman and John Digweed are handbag DJs who play across the board, always have been. PROGGG.

If a Prog DJ plays a Techno record pitched down is it a Prog House record now? What about when Sasha used to play 2 Bad Mice? Was that a Hardcore record or was it Prog House. Prog.

Have you seen the price of those unreleased Science Dept mixes? I'll have one over a copy of Voices, any day.

The flip is a remix of The Goodmen's 'Give It Up' by Cave.

Woah. A Handbag House record played by Handbag House DJs. That's amazing.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. I love it when ravers lose track of what it's supposed to be about (also sarcasm).
Read the guy's profile, it's a rant against greedy elitists lol

There was a limited run in 1993. There's obviously a demand otherwise scalpers ... See full review

Yes, because exclusivity and irrational elitism is more important than putting smiles on faces and getting copies of a classic in the hands of those who want it.

The point is that their reputation as DJs is based largely on this collection of CDs that isn't a DJ mix.

Immediately bypass the original mix and go to the almost completely unrelated Slam remix.

Adam Beyer's Timewarp 3 mix is pretty relentless with 3 decks mixed seamlessly and harmonically, throughout with a definite beginning-middle-end.

I can't message you, so here's a tracklist. He did play Doop, for context lots of people did. That's why it went on to become a chart hit. http://sbradyman.angelfire.com/bradyman/rhumba-27-12-93.htm

Have a look on Youtube. I've seen it feature on JD tracklists from 1993, but I know of one definite from the Rhumba club in Arbroath from 1993 which I've heard.

So you'd prefer non club music from a label that exists for club play? You'd like Techno to sit down to, essentially? That's what you're saying, right?

One of the best tracks in the Platipus catalogue, the Pinocchio (Union Jack) remix was one of the stand out tracks of 1993 and a huge anthem in the clubs of Northern Ireland, supported heavily by N.I DJ hero Glen Molloy.

The D-Cubed Dave Valentine mix is a perfect representation of the time this record was released. For me, 91-92 was the peak of the House/Techno/Rave scene and this is how it sounded. Tracks like this and the early Guerilla stuff.
