I cannot agree to this. Bass is a bit prominent here indeed. The guitars/cymbals are not as bright as known from CD or digital. It is not terrible though and it surely does not sound like any low quality mp3 at all. It also brightens up when you turn... See full review

My copy has a lot more inner groove distortion than my reissue does, anyone else?

Cannot confirm IGD with my copy. I can say this record was cut pretty hot/loud though. If you have a cheaper setup/tonearm/cartridge and/or a... See full review

Second copy is only slightly better, also with scratching noises but not that bad, this time in different track. As little extra this time with annoying not fill on side B. Whoever pressed this, bad job.

[quote=timmeah] Actually the different barcode on the UK version, Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf, is just a sticker and you can see that the original printed barcode is 6 06949 34751 2 so it's the exactly same version and pressing with... See full review

My OG copy has a tiny bit of surface noise between tracks or in quiet passages. Not too much but noticable when listening with headphones. Pretty sure it is caused by the mixed coloured vinyl. Otherwise great sound. Soundwise the MOV pressing comes... See full review

The sound of this 2019 reissue is not much but still noticably compressed in comparison to the original pressing or the MOV release. Not cut as loud as the other two either. Luckily this reissue has the full tracklist. No surface noise unlike the... See full review

Fantastic cutting job. A good, loud, meaty cut with clarity and punch. Caleb's bass lines shine here. Cannot confirm those other reviews at all. It might be this cut causes tracking issues on cheap equipment or misaligned cartridges? I'm using a... See full review

No lyrics included. The heavy gatefold cover has liner notes on the inside. I assume these are the same as present in the box set but layouted a bit differently. This stand-alone release comes with an additional small poster though.
