Pretty interesting. I think the label was on the very top of the labels stack and it is an identification sticker for the pressing machine operator only. I think this was supposed to be removed before starting the pressing process but must have... See full review

Regarding the noted skip/pressing flaw:
I own two different copies/pressings of this album. The one I am commenting on here (November-Coming-Fire) as well as November-Coming-Fire. None of them have a skip or any pressing flaw on track A1 or anywhere else.
I think it... See full review

If anyone knows of an easy way to identify a reissue vs an original, please let me know.

penguin2972 original pressing was submitted only a month ago: Elliott Smith - Needle In The Hay. The matrix in the runout is unique and makes it easy... See full review

Pressed from the same stampers which were used for the box set None More Negative. No lyrics reprinted. The inside of the gatefold has liner notes which are layouted a bit differently from the box set. Also the album title is placed at the bottom instead... See full review

No lyrics included. The heavy gatefold cover has liner notes on the inside. I assume these are the same as present in the box set but layouted a bit differently. This stand-alone release comes with an additional small poster though.

Since this unofficial vinyl was released before the official 1998 CD presumably, I assume it was sourced from the cassette audio. I have not heard the original cassette mix though. I only know the CD version which was remixed by Greg Ginn for its 1998... See full review

why is this vinyl of 1988 more expensive than the 83’ press or 84’repress?? thanx

I can only guess that it might be harder to find? Also it seems it is a different cut than the previous two pressings Evilive &... See full review

Yes, I would think so, too. Nobody has submitted the U.S. release unfortunately. Why don't you submit?

"P. USA" in the matrix indicates that it was pressed at Pallas, too.

[quote=rose1978] My copy has the exact matrix numbers as Discogs page indicates, BUT it also writes:
-On side A: BD 30671-01 A1.
-On side B: BD 30671-01 A2.
-On side C: BD 30671-02 C1.
-On side D: BD 30671-02 D1

[quote=DominionMM1] Well, the thing is that this pressing, the RSD pressing from last year, and both MOV versions were all pressed at the same plant. Plus, they were all released within 9 months of each other. I can’t say this for sure, as MOV doesn’t... See full review

Did a sound comparison of the TMR reissues versus the MOV reissues: this definitely benefits from being released on two LPs. Sound is noticably clearer. More direct with more air around the cymbals and hi-hat which is very noticable on track... See full review
