Started accumulating children's records as a little kid in the late
1950's and Top 40 records throughout the 60's; but I didn't start seriously collecting until the early 1970's when I came across a stack of Elvis and Bill Haley 78's in a thrift store in the UK. Besides collecting records, I also collect comic books, 1950's & 1960's toys, Halloween decorations, Monster model kits, Tarot Cards, and antique books among other things. My collections are probably the result of being an Airforce Brat and moving all over the world every couple of years. You hold on to stuff because it's about the only thing that's constant in your life. The great thing is that my hobbies keep me from EVER growing up!

The US LP has 12 tracks and starts off with I'VE JUST SEEN A FACE from the UK HELP! LP. Until the SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LP in 1967 The Beatles catalog was distributed differently in the US & UK. In the US in most cases Capitol Records... See full review

Surely one of the most demented and bizarre records ever released. Of course, that's what makes it so great! Most of my record collector friends hate this album, but I think it's awesome. When you listen to it be prepared to be transported to a... See full review

The album was first released on January 5th of 1976 so it would have been recorded, copyrighted, and pressed in the latter part of 1975.

Also, on the bottom center label it states: "Mfg. by Capitol Records, Inc. U.S.A." Regular Warner Brothers releases would not say this.

Great Doo-Wop group. There are some unusual arrangements on these tracks. C.C. RIDER is done in a mellow happy-go-lucky style. The lines "I'm gonna buy me a shotgun long as I am tall" and "Well I'm gonna shoot that woman and catch that Cannonball"... See full review

The sound quality of this CD is pretty Lo-Fi, but it's Garage Rock, so pretend you're back in 1965 listening to it on one of the Sears Silvertone suitcase style record players we had back then. LOUIE LOUIE seems to be the original recording, but some... See full review

With CONTINENTAL DRIFT the Stones briefly revisit the dark psychedelia sound of their SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST LP. Such a cool track!

One of her best LP's. It still sounds really fresh. She goes through quite a range of styles here. I especially like SUSPENDED IN GAFFA, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, THE DREAMING, NIGHT OF THE SWALLOW, and what the heck, I especially like the whole album!

It's probably mono as the UK and US versions are. I don't have your version, but check out the B-side. The stereo version of "Revolution" has all the guitar weakly panned to one channel whereas in the mono version, it explodes out of your speakers!

This mono mix of REVOLUTION is so much more powerful than the stereo version. The mono knocks you flat against the wall, but the stereo sounds neutered.

Pretty good sound quality for a picture disc with only some non-distracting surface noise. I think it would have been really cool if they had used the picture inside the gatefold of the double CD for the B-Side instead of the rear jacket photo. Really... See full review

I'm really enjoying this remix. I like that there are no extreme changes to the original mix. The vocals jump right out at you. The new stereo mixes of PAPERBACK WRITER and RAIN are an improvement over earlier versions,... See full review

Hello, I got this LP in July 1970, and the Apple logo on the rear cover is discolored exactly as you describe. If this was due to ageing, then other features on the cover would also be discolored. It was just made that way.
