Leader of the “Christian Electro Posse”.

If you’re about to PM me about how to submit to discogs, it’s likely that your question is already answered in the submission guidelines, and I’ll only refer you to the relevant section. There are no secret ways to submit releases to the database. Do both of us a favor and familiarize yourself with the guide.

If you must contact me about a submission, please be kind enough to give me a link so I won’t have to hunt for it.

Please note:
- Items in my sale list are for sale. Items that I rate 1/5 or of which I have duplicates could be for sale or trade if you make me an attractive offer. All other items in my collection are NOT FOR SALE.

- CD-R/mp3/etc.: I do not make CD-Rs for people. I do not trade mp3/aac/ogg/wma/wav/aiff/etc. files. I also do not scan items from my collection to send to individuals. Making such requests also violates the Discogs terms of service and those making such requests are subject to account suspension. DO NOT ASK.

- Do not spam me; in other words, don’t add me to a mailing list without my explicit permission. My e-mail address is my property, and not for you to appropriate into your mailing list.

- If you are on this page looking for material to use in attacking me (troll food), whether in the forums, personal messages, or submission histories, just look below. Please note that vandalization of my submissions will not be tolerated, and is grounds for account suspension.

Typographical pet-peeves:

Do NOT do this: iƒpi.
Really, don’t do it.

To list a sound recording copyright symbol, use ℗, NOT ⓟ!

Don’t use this: Em space, between brackets: [ ]

Apostrophes:
The following is an apostrophe, and is suitable for all text entry on discogs: '
The following is a (“smart”/“curly”) closing single quote mark, and is appropriate for titles on discogs, but probably not for linked names: ’
The following are not apostrophes, and not appropriate to use as apostrophes on discogs (or anywhere else):
‘ (opening single quote)
′ (prime)
́ (acute accent)
` (grave accent/backtick)

Also, please use appropriate double-quotes (" or “ ”) rather than using doubled single-quote: '' ’’, etc.

“Next after theology I give to music the highest place and the greatest honor.”—Martin Luther (3)

“The Christian is the really free man—he is free to have imagination. This too is our heritage. The Christian is the one whose imagination should fly beyond the stars.”—Francis A. Schaeffer, Art & the Bible

“God assumed from the beginning that the wise of the world would view Christians as fools, and He has not been disappointed. Devout Christians are destined to be regarded as fools in modern society. We are fools for Christ’s sake. We must pray for courage to endure the scorn of the sophisticated world. If I have brought any message today, it is this: Have the courage to have your wisdom regarded as stupidity. Be fools for Christ. And have the courage to suffer the contempt of the sophisticated world.” — Antonin Scalia

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” — Colossians 3:16–17 (ESV)

My tastes started with synthpop and branched out to most genres of electronic music. I collect electronic music recorded by Christian artists, and have been a discographer of several bands for about 10 years.

5 = essential listening

1 = if my house were on fire, and I’d rescued the other stuff, I’d be tossing this back into the flames

Discogs at one time allowed titles to be entered in correct English-style caps. After the following rule was deleted from the guidelines, submitters are no longer allowed to enter titles correctly according to their respective languages and must use discogsian-style caps. Despite the repeated protestations of nay-sayers, allowing us to enter titles correctly did not cause the database to implode.

Capitalization

On Artist names, Label names, Release titles, and Track titles, all words must be capitalized except articles (capitalization is optional on a, and, the, etc, unless it is the first word). Capitalization of artist name particles (i.e. van, von, di, de, la, etc.) is not required.

Five songs, four of which are instrumental, and less than 15 minutes in duration. Ronnie and his label call this an album, while I might be willing to call this a slim EP. And on a burned CD. I don't want to be unappreciative, but I'm underwhelmed. I ... See full review
