I laughed at that comment... “one hit wonder”! They had 10 studio albums, 10 compilation albums, five EPs and 39 singles. The vast majority were hits in multiple countries and many were top 5!

Great album and excellent sound quality. Pressing isn’t brilliant, though, with a bit of a noisy floor and slightly off centre. The noise is only audible between track and at very quiet sections and the off centre hole doesn’t affect the sound on...

This is the only pressing I’ve ever heard so, whilst I can’t compare, I am very impressed with it. It’s flat, centred and quiet and the sound quality is absolutely outstanding.

Great music and excellent pressing & sound quality. Recommended.

This is yet another fantastic album from Damien Rice. The packaging is beautiful and the overall sound quality, as usual from DR, is excellent. My copy does have a bit of light noise in places but it’s still a great sounding record.

Superb pressing of a classic album. I have the also excellent 2017 black vinyl pressing and this sounds just the same so the black one has now gone to my daughter.

Outstanding album. One of the best of the 2000s and this is a great pressing. Sounds superb.

OK, after reading the replies to the question on pressing quality, I was in two minds about buying this or just sticking to the hi-res digital version. However, after listening to the record, I’m glad I bought it. The sound quality is magnificent and...

Great album and a very nice pressing. Quiet and nice sound quality.

Superb sound quality and sexy red vinyl... I have the 12” singles of both tracks and two versions of the Quiet Life album. The sound on this 7” is just as good as those.

What a great pressing for a record given away with a magazine. In fact, it’s a great pressing, full stop. Lovely quality packaging and superb sound quality.

The entry images are accurate. Labels are Arista but I-Spy is on the front and back covers.

A nice selection of songs but the sound quality isn’t great at all. The sound lacks dynamic range and fullness. Stream it instead.

High quality pressing, lovely matt dove grey colour. Great sound quality.

Are you able to comment on how it sounds? Thanks.

[quote=leonthepro]Its actually normal air, I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Giottos-AA1900-Rocket-Blaster-Large/dp/B00017LSPICompressed air has a cooling agent in it that can be a contaminate for records I believe.Im also usually turned off by...

Could understand that blowing with compressed air would be less risky than using a felt pad, right enough. I've cleaned plenty of old, dusty records with great results. Received loads from Discogs sellers listed as NM of course! Doesn't bother me...

4 and 5 are less important, I agree, and not necessary if you have no static by the time you've done 1-3 and get no more static build up on subsequent plays (auto corrected anti-static to anti-stain!). My list is belt and braces.
1 is important so... See full review |

I’d say this is the weakest of DD’s first three albums. Rio is better and the self-title debut is much better, in my view. It’s also a far-inferior sounding recording than either of their first two albums, which sound superb (comparing first U.K....

Probably their best album for me, and an excellent recording / pressing - sound quality is really good.

Nice release. Quality pressing (flat, centred, low noise) and nice sound quality.

An absolutely superb album... a proper classic.
Pressing is decent... shiny vinyl with no marks, centred and flat. Sound quality is fine. Nothing special but that’s probably down to limitations of the original recording. Sounds better than my... See full review |

This is a great album. Superb songs and musicianship, with Paul Weller guesting on a number of tracks.
Really nice pressing / sound quality. |

With his velvet tones, Dean Martin sounds fantastic. The pressing is superb - absolutely fantastic sounding record. Top of the tree.
As usual from AP, high quality heavy glossy jacket and QRP inner sleeves. Not cheap, but when this was out of... See full review |

I finally received a NM copy of this after three attempts (other two overgraded), all bought on Discogs.
This sounds great - an excellent recording and pressing (I have a -2/-2). |

Great album of course, we all know that.
The remaster and pressing, though? My copy is flat, centred, quiet and sounds tremendous. A lot of attention was put into this release: - Remastered from the Original Olympic Studios 1/4" Flat Analog Master... See full review |

Superb live concert, and a top quality recording and pressing, completely analogue. Linn HiFi use this to demo their systems - it does sound fantastic.

The music - 5 stars
This pressing - 1 star A fantastic concept to blend Karen Carpenter’s unique, velvet voice with a world-class orchestra and the concept works really well. However, like others, my copy has far too much noise for a new record -... See full review |

I was lucky enough to find a virtually mint copy of this in 2019, having owned and played it to death on CD since release in 1997 and then owning the remastered 24/192 digital version since 2012.
I love Antionio Forcione and love this album. ... See full review |

There were some really great sounding 12” singles produced in the 80s and this is a prime example... superb sound quality.

Cheers, there are conflicted comments - someone said they were mastered from CD but I think it looks like it would have been more accurate to say from a digital remaster. The 2007 CD and LP were both produced from a remastering taken from the...

Really good album and excellent sound quality. Lively, articulate and musical.
My copy is pressed slightly off centre but it doesn’t appear to affect the SQ. |

Whilst I can’t compare it to an early pressing or a mono version, I’m impressed with the sound quality of this reissue. Excellent detail, instrument separation and nice bass.

Bought mine from Denmark. Download card worked fine - separate zip files for each disc and CD-quality WAVs.

My European copy download card had both disc downloads. They are separate downloads per disc so I’m sure they be able to easily resolve it.
