Shuki Levy & Kussa Mahehi - Dragonball Z (Original USA Television Soundtrack)
posted a review of Shuki Levy & Kussa Mahehi - Dragonball Z (Original USA Television Soundtrack). over 2 years ago
It’s worth nothing that Saban and Levy had nothing to do with composing these. The actual composer was Ron Wasserman, but the contract stipulated that those two got all the credit.

Haim Saban is a horrible human being, but he sure knew how to make a great theme song!

“Odyssey” became well known by viewers of British television when it was briefly used as part of a start-up film for ATV Midlands. This did not last long, as the Independent Broadcasting Authority didn’t allow songs with lyrics to be used for start-ups.
Johnny Rebel

Scum like Johnny Rebel only could have existed in the old days. His songs are undoubtedly catchy, but it’s impossible to defend the horrid content of the lyrics. I hope he rots in Hell.

The only Sesame Street album to feature Hal Miller as Gordon.
The Count (5) - The Count Counts

This album was later adapted into Episode 1048 of the TV show. Some slight trimming had to be done to fit within the time slot, and, for whatever reason, Nelson's vocals as The Count have been slowed down a bit.

Rod McKuen, Vince Guaraldi, John Scott Trotter - Selections From The Soundtrack

One of the best movie soundtracks ever made. It was nominated for an Oscar, but lost to Let it Be. Speaking of which, Paul McCartney himself apparently said, "We all know who's going to win; Charlie Brown!"

The original soundtrack recordings by Guaraldi for this special have been lost to time, so what you hear on this release is the special's music-and-effects track. Total waste of time and money, if you ask me.

An all-time classic, even if you aren’t a sports fan. It should be noted that the instrumental backing on this was done with an early synthesizer called the Novachord.

That’s the problem. They didn’t. In fact, some later reissues of his stuff replace the music with soundalike recordings.
