Unfortunately my box set is afflicted with issues that others have reported in that the pressing just kinda sounds like shit across the whole set. I contacted Matador about it but they tried to blame my set up, so I’m not in a great mood about that.

One of the most idiosyncratic of the American 80s noise rock bands, Scratch Acid feels like The Birthday Party put in a blender with meth. How this hasn’t had a supreme deluxe vinyl edition as a box set 4 LP with some live recording attached is BEYOND me.

Most of the dolphin sounds are just proof that experimental human music is probably just horribly disjointed dolphin language. The number of avant garde noise and classical records that sound like these dolphins is almost hilarious
