I've been collecting only vinyl from 1990 to 2005, mostly by mailorder.
Mostly interested by 60ies punk rock and garage bands as well as their revival groups of the 80ies, i was also living and following the wave and independent scene, as well as the whole "grunge" and postpunk thing in my late teenager time and in my twenties.
But i was also spreading out my interests to different musical influences such as jazz, blues, psychedelic rock and electro, house, d&b and so on.
My alltime favourite band is Motorpsycho, but i still can cry listening to bands like Hüsker Dü, Dinosaur Jr., Mudhoney, Sebadoh, Pavement and Guided By Voices... . But i also have a lot of respect and love for artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Miles Davis.

When i first logged on Discogs, my goal was to get an idea of the value of my collection, being sick of following sales on Ebay or Musicstack, without being sure if it was really my version that was being sold.
So i entered about 1900 of my records here on discogs. For the rest of my collection, i was unable to identify the correct versions and for many of them, there wasn't even existing an entry. So my goal is to get any release that i own into the database and make them complete & correct.
Seeing how many users are absolutely committed to Discogs and making it a reliable database ("History" for some), i decided to do my best as well on improving the database.
As a submitter and editor, i try to bring up all the information a release is containing, in the BAOI and LCCN section, with the credits as well as by uploading images showing all the differences between different versions.
My goal is also to make the database more easy to use, looking out for duplicate submissions or artist and label profiles as well as creating master releases and series.
