This is unbelievable discouraging to thousands of people who spent their heart, energy and time on all this sites. And like so often these times, a smell of "not profitable in sense of money" flies through the air. Why instead of shutting down not leaving up those sites in the hands of all the people?
You are still sticking with the wrong horse. In sense of community & appreciation is discogs a "dead" website.
Around 500 "vivid" contributors compared with 536.000 ..... oh well ...
Like in real life - there is need to realize that in 1st place are the people. Without people there will be nothing to sell or earn.
Encourage them. Motivate them. Appreciate them. It can't be so hard to spread a little love here and there.
One day we all will go like we did come. With nothing in our hands. I don't want to look back and ask myself "Why did i give not enough?" What about you?

08.01.20: Over 10.000 / 11 months and still not wise enough for contributions in perfectly perfect perfection - sorry dear staff.
After a year i get an idea why so many accounts got closed, inactive or why people stop to contribute.
Also i get an idea why there is a huge lack of women on the contributing & editing front.
I recommended discogs to maintain a collection, but I don't recommended to contribute, especially in Germany & Europe -
this point of view will change when certain things start to change.

30.12.19: Thanks to everyone for the vote(s)! Glad to be now in the right flow and under other great spirits that i cross at so many entries (some must get tired of notifications from me). I learned so many things since i started here. Happy to be a part now of this community and to be able to contribute.
