This is a fantastic release. Sound-wise its top notch. Quiet and click/pop free. So often with big deluxe boxes like this I play the extras maybe a couple of times, then they go back in the box, forgotten. Not with this. The live album is wonderful....

I don’t think this sounds as good as the original vinyl release but its nice to have the B sides on one disk as well as the other odds and ends. Shame they couldn’t have fitted the 12” mixes on somewhere. Great album though. I’m no fan of Big Country...

Fantastic album. Up there with Hounds Of Love imo.
I did buy one of the vinyl versions initially but it - and it’s replacement - were two of the worst sounding records I’ve ever heard, so I went for the CD in the end. Which sounds perfect. |

A so-so album. I find the production a bit flat and the songs are very slow paced. Not bad but I get more pleasure out of Cracker Island to be honest.

Its quite a dense, muddy sounding mix so is never going to sound high end. I was lucky to get a nearly new copy for a tenner a few years back, and although I don’t play it very often, I really enjoy it when I do.

What can you say ? The legendary Sparks and the legendary Propaganda. This CD sounds great. Nice dynamics. Haven’t compared it to the original vinyl but I dont think there’s much difference. An easy 5 stars.
