Sounds great but I bought two copies --all four discs extremely warped. So for that reason, I'm returning. Bummer

Leagues better than the opaque version, which is extremely noisy and unbearable. This version still has some no-fill, but probably 10% or less of what the opaque version has.

Great pressing. Quiet, flat vinyl and that T Bone Burnett production is always phenomenal.

After a streak of poor pressings in this series, I can say this is easily the best title I've picked up. Finally, a disc with no warp/dish, no scratches, dead quiet, and sounds amazing. If only they were all like this one.

Tried two copies, both extremely warped. Had to send back unfortunately.

I concur. Overall very quiet and the record is flat. Chris Bellman did a great mastering job too, this thing sounds great!

Every single disc has faint, squiggly looking scratches causing repetitive noise due to the lack of proper inner sleeves. Several songs completely ruined by this, sadly. Love the design of the printed inners, but they should've used poly-lined ones to... See full review

Turntable Lab has nothing to do with the production/manufacturing of their exclusives. They just sell them as the exclusive retailer.

This remaster smokes my 1975 NM copy. All the vocal distortion on my original is gone and overall just sounds so much smoother and punchier.

Not sure how the person below me got a "flat" copy when I have now tried FOUR copies, all dish warped the exact same way. Classic Optimal these days

Phenomenal especially for the price. Flat and dead quiet AAA vinyl and a nice tip on jacket for $25. Can't be beat!

Borderline unbearable inner groove distortion on both sides playing on my Rega Planar 3 and Elys 2 cart. Otherwise, a beautiful sounding reissue with dead quiet vinyl.

Agree with the reviews. Great sound but bad distortion. Also, my copy was warped so I just decided to send it back.

My copy is perfect. There's some surface noise that's not even close to distracting but both LPs are as flat as can be (my TT is extremely unforgiving when revealing warps). I have the deluxe 9LP but I had to grab this gold vinyl!

It always seems to be just me. Just got the replacement discs. Exact same thing. Warped like plates.

Sonically sounds great and overall quiet, but there are moments where there's noticeable surface noise. Not overpowering, but mildly distracting.

The only thing marring this reissue from being perfect is once again because of RTI. As others mention, ticks and pops throughout. Nothing extreme, but still noticeable and sadly irremovable.

Four copies I have now tried, attempting to get a playable copy. All four copies have some of the worst warps I have ever seen. Completely unremovable with my Vinyl Flat. Completely unplayable and dangerous for anyone's stylus. Cramming the thick... See full review

This pressing is garbage. Optimal is such a disappointment these days. Two copies, both dished to the point where they could actually serve as a plate for food. Scuffed all over the place - clearly the previous paper inner sleeves weren't the issue.... See full review

Why are you rating this if you don't even own it? That's how the average rating becomes irrelevant.

A fantastic sounding reissue! RTI did a great job on how quiet the disc is and Kevin Gray did a wonderful mastering job. A steal for $25ish.

Overall a much better experience with this QRP-pressed version than whatever other version is floating around in stores, which was awful. One of my discs on this version came warped (was able to mainly fix with my Vinyl Flat) and has some surface... See full review

Sonically sounds good, but suffers from a pressing standpoint. Has plenty of repetitive ticks and pops (I have tried three copies so it seems to be widespread).

And now they've pressed even more copies of 74 (they're popping up at record stores this week) so 64 is easily more rare now

Sounds great minus a short repetitive tick on side B, but I tried two copies that were both very warped. Was able to fix with my Vinyl Flat, but still a poor pressing job.

Neil continuously gives us the best-presented/sounding archival releases of any artist. This is no exception with flat, silent, beautiful vinyl. A couple quiet ticks at the very worst, unnoticeable if this album wasn't so quiet. Love the matte tip on... See full review
