Not just any house music mind you. We’d like you to have a free download of our debut album.

Critically acclaimed, and even though we say so ourselves, it really is rather good.

of just how good dance albums can be.” (IDJ album of the month.)

So, feel free, we want you to have it – and you’re welcome to tell anyone
else that you think will like some quality free house music to come and get it too.

From the label: "The vinyl versions of each track have been specially mixed with random LFOs, sonic quirks and unique fingerprints making them the subtly different to the CD version"

When a DJ fails at beatmatching – repeatedly – it just ruins the whole listening pleasure.

Motorcycle - Imagination / Deep Breath Sedna Neochild

August 7, 2014
Deep Breath Sedna is being given away for free on Dave Dresden's Soundcloud.

Sander Kleinenberg - Sacred Neochild

June 20, 2014
Don't know if you know it, but the Sunrise Remix is featured on Armin van Buuren's Boundaries Of Imagination CD (not the digital re-release), but the physical CD release). It's indeed a fantastic track.

There are many great tracks on this mix compilation, but Hardy seem allergic to beat matching. Most of the transitions are just a nudge away from being spot on. Pretty weird actually.

Max Graham - Mixmag Live Neochild

April 14, 2014
According to the tracklist at Resident Advisor it's a 16 Bit Lolitas Remix. Looks unreleased.

Ricardo Villalobos - Thé Au Harem D'Archimède Neochild

I also bought the repress but I had no trouble with skipping.

Track 14. What a great way to ruin a perfectly, well, average segued chillout album. Not many standout tunes on this one. 3 dying stars out of 5.

Hernán Cattáneo - Renaissance: The Masters Series Part 16 - Parallel Neochild

October 29, 2013
On my copy, disc 1 suffer from either bad mastering or pressing. The disc is in mint condition but there are lots of weird noises throughout the mix. Disc 2 is fine. Anyone else with the same problem? Note, it's the High Note release, pressed in Taiwan, not the original Renaissance release.

Alpha 9 - Come Home as reviewed by Neochild

The original mix is a nice track, but the real gem here is the Audien Remix. That extra piano melody he adds really fits the track.

Haris C* & Plant (3) - Flashback Neochild

The Haris C Mix is a rework/rip-off of Jose Amnesia - The Eternal.

Wow, this CD sounds incredibly dated! Still, it's a very fun mix-compilation to listen to once in a while. The Karma label released several good tunes back in the days, such as the well known classic "Carlos - The Silmarillia".
So, the tracklist looks alright but Doc Fabian's mixing skills ruin this CD a bit. One of the most significant differences between DJs before harmonic mixing softwares arrived was if they could manage to mix in key. Doc Fabian fails too often on this CD, although there are a few really good mixes present. A few..

Armin van Buuren - Mirage as reviewed by Neochild

September 28, 2010
The perhaps biggest name in trance over the last couple of years, Armin van Buuren, has unfortunatly done it again. He has made another poor artist album.

There is nothing new or exciting about this album. It has no red line, and it just doesn't feel like an album. It's more like a badly put together compilation of mediocre tracks. It's as if he has first made several individual club tracks, then just shortened them or made them fade out, instead of trying to make the tracks fit together as a whole, like a proper artist album.

But of course, the album will sell good because Armin is such a big star in the trance scene.

Tiësto* - Magikal Journey (The Hits Collection 1998-2008) as reviewed by Neochild

Strangely enough, there are no tracks older than 2001 on this CD. Why did thay call it "The Hits Collection 1998-2008"? Where is Theme From Norefjell and Sparkles? And what's with all the radio edits? If you have his previous artist albums you really don't need this CD.

The remix disc isn't really much either. Tiësto's new remixes of his older tracks are boring and uninspiring. The other remixes are also pretty average, except for Laidback Luke's awesome remix of Flight 643, which he gave away for free on his website...

Röyksopp - Junior as reviewed by Neochild

I love this release for two reasons:

The format:
A download code is included so you can download the entire album as mp3 files. This is very useful for vinyl lovers that also want to have their music on mp3 players. No more recording vinyls to the computer, just download the files! I've seen other albums that also offers vinyl releases + a CD. You If you'll ask me, this is deffinitly the future for vinyl releases.

The music:
Röyksopp's third studio album is probably the happiest sounding album yet. Most of the tracks are energetic and upbeat. The album also contains some more downbeat tunes in between all the fun. This makes the album very balanced and it's very easy to listen to.

This is deffinitly an album for the summer!

Way Out West Featuring Tricia Lee Kelshall - Mindcircus as reviewed by Neochild

February 27, 2009
This piece of vinyl contains one of my most favourite vocal progressive house tunes ever. I'm talking about the Way Out West Club Mix. It's a beauty of a tune! Especially the parts in the break where they fade down the tune, and then pop it right back! Beautiful!
Cheesy talk: When I listen to it and close my eyes I picture myself that I'm in China. The sounds fit perfect with images of chinese architecture in my head.

The other mixes are pretty good too. Jaimy & Kenny D. gives it their typical sound and the result is a much heavier and deeper production.
DJ Dazzle's remix is another beauty. It's much lighter than the Jaimy & Kenny D. Remix. As used by Armin van Buuren on his 004 Transparance mix compilation. Fits really good in the beginning of CD1!

To sum it up: Get this vinyl!!

Future Prophecies - Feel Free as reviewed by Neochild

I heard this on the "Prima Norsk: A Collection Of Groovy Norwegian House Music" compilation and i fell in love with it instanly. If you're into classic feel-good house, you absolutly must check this one out. The bassline is joyful and bounces throughout the track and the male vocals sings about feeling free. It doesn't get better than this!

I haven't heard the Instrumental Mix, but I can't see why it won't work. Gotta love that bassline!

I haven't listened alot to this CD since I bought it. Now, after a good listen I think I've found out why.

Most of the tracks sounds too dated. There are alot of great tracks from 2000 but it seems like Maarten van Oosten and Cor van Zomeren have gathered very few of them for this mix. There are some ace tracks on this CD, like Goldrush and Transcend, but the rest just sounds too similar and it get's really boring.

It's not _very_ bad, mixing-wise Misja does a good job, but the track selection is very far from previous Forbidden Paradise CD's in terms of quality. 3 / 5.

Richie Hawtin - Sounds From Can Elles as reviewed by Neochild

December 1, 2008
Once in a while there is a covermount CD that makes almost all other covermount CD's sound boring, uninspired and tasteless (alot of them actually are, without having to compare it to this mix). This is absolutely one of them!

Electronic music pioneer Richie Hawtin delivers a mix that is so hot, you need potholders to handle it! I hadn't really heard much of his sets or productions, so I didn't quite knew what to expect. I can't really say anything else than that he blew me away!

Sounds From Can Elles is a flawless mix of hot new minimal techno tracks. It never get's boring, as I've experienced with other minimal techno mixes. Get it if you can!

The Real Booty Babes - Connected as reviewed by Neochild

November 27, 2008
I have never been so embarrassed when I've bought a CD as I was when I bought this one. I felt that the entire staff behind the counter was laughing at me when I payed for this. Anyway, I didn't buy this for listening pleasure, I only bought it so I could add it here on Discogs (it was VERY cheap).

As I thought, this CD is as far away from quality as gold is from a pigs droppings. It's un-original, not catchy at all (as some hard-dance tunes can be, just admit it) and full of lousy reworks of older, and far better, tunes.

Belongs in the garbage bin. No wonder it was cheap...

Vincent De Moor - Fly Away as reviewed by Neochild

October 15, 2008
At the time of the release of this tune i was very sceptical about two things. All these new remixes of Vincent De Moor's classic tunes, and Sean Tyas' assembly line productions.
So, here I was, ready to hear yet another classic destroyed by new producers. But Sean Tyas impressed me on this one. He transformed the original classic trance anthem "Fly Away" into a pulsating and energetic piece of music. The classic melody combined with fast tempo and a tight production makes this a perfect peak-time track for a set.

Armin van Buuren - Sunburn as reviewed by Neochild

September 29, 2008
This track wasn't really your average Armin van Buuren track when it was released. Believed by many to be a rejected remix of DJ Tiësto's tech-trance anthem "Flight 643", it sure didn't sound like anything Armin had done before. I can understand why, because the similarities are quite big. Take the breakdown for instance. Same monotone sound that builds up to the take-off. Other sounds in the track are also quite similar.

Other believe it was a track Armin did just for fun and that it was never supposed to be released. But who cares, really. Music is music, no matter how you look at it.
