TriOptimum was the name of the fictional corporation in the System Shock series of games. Quite inspired!

Surely NOT the Orbital album? :(

That aside, Reform Club is a fine release indeed.

The "Stronger on my own" vocals are just icing on an absolute trainwreck of a cake. This never should have been allowed to happen.

Never tire of listening to these tracks twenty years after they were produced. A testament to well made music.

While some of the tracks have, indeed, a housey feel to them (especially Share this House), the production should be taken for what it is. It's not like high quality recording equipment was exactly affordable to the average youth in the 1980s.

But why would you even want to be a pop icon? Just so you can end up on some ridiculous and heavily tampered with chart?

Nice Jazzy outing here. "Witchbender" and "Rain Angel" are probably my favourite of the not remixed tracks here while special mention goes to "Harmony" (Dixon Late Night Mix). The only track that didn't really connect was the Chateau Flight remix of ... See full review

Thought this sounded alot like Halcyon and carried a similar vibe. All I can say is trust your instincts! ;)

I disagree that this track should be updated. Not everything should be forced to fit the standards of today.

Good compilation. Standouts from the 2nd disc include tracks by Mayday, 808 State, A Guy Called Gerald, Sueño Latino, 28th Street Crew, Bam Bam and Deee-lite.

Iconic tracks from Cybotron, New Order and Klein & MBO feature on the first disc.

There is no way The Winstons could have known. Technology is odd like that. Here we were wishing for hoverboards when instead all we got were ipods.

Amazing tune that proves the old adage, "What is one man's trash is another man's treasure"!

This will sound contentious, but I like the Analord series the most of James' recent work. I like how the use of old gear imposes some limitations and how one can become inspired within that context to really push the gear. True Chosen Lords doesn't ... See full review

"I'm a man baby! Give it to me! Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh... uh-uh-uh-uh-uh! Auuu~!"

Add all of that to an acid bassline, mix, and you have yourself a nice piece of Chicago acid house pie!

Back when I tried Omar S out it was the track 'Crusin Conant' that opened the doors to the Omar S sound. As mentioned in the comment below, his particular brand of music is quite diverse (smooth, uplifting, slightly menacing, he can do it all).
