I received my copy from amazon the other week and the vinyls looked like crap. Big hairlines, scratches, smudges and fluid stains on the vinyl. I filed a complaint and quickly got a replacement. I looked even worse than the first one. I had to clean the ... See full review

Anyone else who finds this pressing harsh when it comes to how the vocals are prersented. Especially the S´s in the vocals are bothersome and sharp.

It sounds good. My copy has surface noise that comes and goes and I think that the dynamics and clarity could have been better considering the beautiful music. My copy also had some serious IGD on side A which bothered me.

Phoenix best album since Alphabet. Sensual, breezy, bittersweet, sun-drenched and effortlessly cool. I think the production is also the best they had in a long time. The two previous albums had awesome songwriting but a production that sometimes felt a ... See full review

Great release that might not be as luxurious as the DW release but it has the original artwork which is good. DW's cover was not that good to be honest even if the whole package design was stellar. I own both editions and as far as I´m concerned this ... See full review

Very good reissue. I wish the packaging could have been a bit more snazzy instead of just reproducing the original cover art and liner notes (which is by the way done beautifully). The pressing is excellent and the sound is perfect.

Was thinking of getting the DW edition but after all the comments I´d rather chase down an original pressing and save myself the grief. I just can't grasp why the hysteria with marbled/colored/variant vinyl, black is always safer/better. And a black ... See full review

Am I the only one but does this pressing feel quite bass heavy? I know the original press of the CD also has a booming bass sound but since this is a remaster I hoped the sound would have been more nuanced and even sounding.

One of my favourite records of all time. There is a sense of atmoshpere and emotion here that SG never has bettered. Putting this album on is like relenting to darkness and beauty. A true masterpiece.

I my opinion this is Kreng´s least interesting album. Parts of it has some cool dynamics and passages but there is an overall feeling of ennui here that is absent from everything else he has done. I really appreciated the instrumentation on this record ... See full review

Clearly the new king in town when it comes to releasing soundtrack from horror and cult movies. Although I not up in arms about everything they release their attention to detail and customer service is beyond compare.

Am I´m the only one that has had the bad luck of getting two copies of this with an off-center problem on the B-side? A-side plays fine but the B-side sounds drunk and the tone arm veers noticably from side to side. Like I said, two copies bought from ... See full review

This album was pretty good. Apart from the atrocious track Motherfucker I think the songwriting is very solid and on par for this band. It is definetly a step up from the lacklustre Album of the year. Obviously the band never reaches the greatness of TRT ... See full review

Another quality release from Northern Electronics! This is by far my favourite release from Acronym. I was a bit hesitant how the artist´s music would fare in the long playing format since I only have heard Acronym in short form of ep:s and 12's. I can ... See full review

My copy that I got today has an crazy amount of surface noise. It also must be poorly pressed since the tonearm veers back and forth making the vinyl sound slightly drunk. Anyone else with these problems?

If you bought your variant directly from the label just contact then via their website and they´ll sort you out. In my experience Waxwork Records are really good at customer service.

A lot of candy corn variants was poorly pressed and riddled with pops, cracks, static and background noise throughout. This was officially addressed by the record company and replacements (transparent orange) were sent to those who got a faulty variant ... See full review

Best label at the moment if you're into dubby techno with tons of mood and atmosphere. I just wish they'd offer a subscription so I didn't have to risk missing one of their releases.
