Maybe not the most essential or the best value, as it's a little light on the box and unreleased content, but it does sound great! I think it's a notable improvement over the US 2xLP. Made in Germany and pressed nicely, the new vinyl master is great... See full review

Maybe my favorite bootleg. This version is very faithful to the NTSC PS1 game, with its redbook audio ripped and edited into a continuous mix with game sounds in between. Maybe too faithful as the censor edits and fadeouts aren't so desirable. But the... See full review

An old Allmusic review of this 80s aquarius jazz LP predicts the future: "Will a 21st-century lounge movement be interested in this type of thing someday?" The answer is yes, I love Lonnie's earnest 80s schlock, especially played a little slow. Great... See full review

Only 500 pressed in the 80s, according to the current owner of Attic Records. 250 copies for the US and 250 copies exported to Europe.

One of the better Moog albums, featuring classic Bacharach tunes and a mostly tasteful sparse production. A few duds, but there's some nicely aged Moog patches, and some funky drumming on a few tracks. Anybody know who the drummer was?

My favorite Queen record by far! I love the thick synths, hyper 80s guitar, Freddie's soaring vocals and some of his most passionate & intimate lyrics. And who can forget the Highlander cross over! It was a flop in the US, but a smash hit around the... See full review

Just bought this CD for $15 so don't go paying $150 - It's out there.

Great, even underrated indie folk country rock album that has an almost chillwave kind of lush production to it. I liked this album when it came out and it's grown on me a lot... See full review

Excellent vinyl quality, comparable to the Fiction light yellow / purple release. My copy was bought at American indie retail but says made in Germany.

Not only shipped late but poorly pressed. Mine has multiple defects. Noisy, uneven, edges poorly trimmed

Got this on impulse and am very glad I did! The pressing is nice, great color without warp and plays without noise. I am not overly familiar with the music and have no idea on the other pressings, but I think the tonal range especially the 808 kicks... See full review

Nice to get a copy that actually has the bonus tracks on it. The pressing is nice too, as is the baby blue jeans color.

I think you may be mistaken my friend. The only review I'd write is "it's brilliant".

Pretty sure Vincent Bell plays guitar on this track. The watery guitar sounds are very similar to his hit Airport Love Theme. And Coral was owned by Decca Records, who Bell released records for.

Nice ballad tune either way.

Solid late 70s rock album that could almost be a lost Supertramp record. A platter of catchy power pop with phased keyboards, soaring vocals, and power boosted guitars. Think Breakfast In America, Dreamweaver, and Boston.

Cool material, although available in higher quality elsewhere. Neat bootleg nonetheless.

Sounds good. Side 1 is great, it has the best songs and the most space. Side 2 is crammed and does feel a bit flat. The 2xLP probably has more breathing room and stronger bass. But this album never had great dynamic range. I always thought the second... See full review

James can really play those keys. This all instrumental James Brown LP has a sweet slow groove to it, a stark contrast to his more hectic King LPs. The horn section is great as always with a hint of verb backing the whole band. It all comes together... See full review

An oddball in McCann's discography. After laying down some rhythms with his backing band, McCann then fills in the rest of the 32 tracks with a Fender Rhodes and ARP 2600 making one oddball synth jazz LP. Side 1 is a bit laid back with lots of Rhodes... See full review

Acidic bluesy and kinda swampy rock from 1970. Some tracks rip, some just strum. Supposedly was recorded live in one session. I'd believe it, has a rolling energy to it. This LP really pops out with hardpanned crunchy guitars and CSN choral vocals. I... See full review

I must be lucky, my copy sounds pretty good on my Thorens. Not great, certainly, but no skips and few pops here and there. A little warp but it's very slight. Not off center. Some distortion from time to time, but overall I'd say 4/5 quality on my copy.
