'Nervous Move' is an absolute banger. Oozing with Detroit flavours, this record is worth buying for the A2 track alone. 'Known Existence' on the flip is great too.

I bought this for "Eeyore" alone. "In The Studio" is a decent track, too, but that Mulletronic track is absolutely amazing, and grows on you with every listen.

Nite Flyte is an amazing slow-churning house number. The B-side goes more into the filter disco house sounds, sounding quite french. But A-side is the one to go for here.

Forget the remixes - the original mix is beautiful. The track tells the story of a troubled, mentally unstable man.
For some reason there is also a radio edit made of this track which ruins the mood completely despite only using elements from the ... See full review

I am almost certain the "1992 Remix" does not point to the year it was made, but rather the year it's trying to sound like. There are simply too many nods to the era fitted into the two-something minutes.
The Polytron Remix is fine, but the Velcro vs. ... See full review

The original mix an absolute delight. A great tune for ending the night.

This track starts off with the manic breakdown from "Din Da Da" by George Kranz.

"When You Don't Know What Is It" is a fantastic jazzy house track. Playing it in a bar is a great way of spotting DJs - they will all come and ask "Sorry mate, what tune is this?".

I got this for the Tipdrill Remix. The music video holds a dear place in my heart.

A funky, heavy hitting number with a silly yet somehow superb non-sensical vocal. Extremely catchy, extremely difficult to dismiss when it's stuck in your head. Great work from Amon Tobin.

Yes, La 11éme Marche stole the headlines back in the day. But Anni Mari is an equally brilliant tune. Hauntingly beautiful.

Perpendicular is an amazing instrumental hip-hop track. Absolutely amazing. This EP is easily worth the money for it alone.

The Casseopaya remix is a brilliant techno tune. Far from "progressive house", as the style description says.

The Switch remix is amazing, and one of his more groovier productions. Bleepy, cut-up and manic as usual, but with a bit more funk.

Me & Madonna. I keep returning to this track every year, and every single time I remember just what makes it so, so good. A definite highlight in the Blackstrobe catalogue, not to mention the indie dance/electroclash catalogues. This never got the ... See full review

What you have here is a wonderful piece of excellent UK Electro. This was at the time when everything the Dexorcist made was pure gold. For me, Conscious Robots is the go-to track on this record.

Considering the global hype that's been surrounding Grime in the past two years, it baffles me when I look at this record and realise it came out in 2004. One of the all-time Grime greats, Kano, delivers a stunning tune with some help from DaVinChe.

Whoa. The Ashley Beedle Remix. Mike Skinner never sounded this good. An amazing late night anthem, something to listen to when you get home after a long evening at the pub.

The beat on this record is amazing. Many a time have I ended up listening to this on repeat, over and over again.

Is this the best thing D.Ramirez ever created? This is one of the finest "Electro House" records ever. A fantastic remix.

The unofficial "love it or hate it"-artist, Switch, rapes the track completely! Lily Allen's vocal, along with the main melody, gets cut up and heavily filtered. This remix, being possibly the weirdest one up-to-date by Dave Taylor, is total chaos from ... See full review

The B-side is where the money's at. It features about six different rappers: some rapping in ragga style and others rapping in a "normal" way. It sounds like each lyrical performance has been taken from a different track and the result is a great D&B ... See full review

Rather weird release this one; DJ Sakin decided to sample a few sentences from Run-D.M.C.'s "Peter Piper" and I must say that very sample is the single factor that makes this record any good. Other than that, this is just your average electro-ish trance ... See full review

The Brinsley Evans remix is basically a mash-up between Bette's vocals and Stardust's 'Music Sounds Better With You' (without Benjamin Diamond's vocals). Play it after the Stardust original and see the crowd roar!

What makes this release worth getting is that the both tracks have been played with real instruments. The manic bass line in 'Da Funk' has been done by scratching and sounds rather funny. The B-side isn't as good in quality as the A-side is, as ... See full review

This EP is worth getting for the B-side alone - by far the best effort Eric Prydz has come up with (under this moniker)! The tracks on A-side are pretty mediocre but 'Deeper Still' really hits the spot with its beautiful melody and calming sound. If you ... See full review

The chorus of 'Don't Cha' relies heavily on Sir Mix-A-Lot's 'Swass' (Where the chorus goes 'Don't you wish our boyfriend was swass like me', in the exact same way as the Pussycats sing their song).

There have been rumors that Tapehead is actually Swag. Whether that's true or not, this is a great release nevertheless. Forget the A-side though, DJ Sneak & Bearwho?'s 'Fix My Sink' could have been mashed up with Chic's 'Good Times' better than this. ... See full review

Black Sun Empire have a special sound. If there's a genre called trancy D&B, then that's the genre which BSE can be labeled under. Check out, for example, 'Arrakis' and you'll get my point.

Oh and I love their sound - even though half of their tracks ... See full review
