'Salty Tears' is a subtle Moodymann-esque deep house jam. Not quite up there with Kenny's stuff but a very nice rainy day house record to be enjoyed.

I think these guys are talking about the MK dub. I'm not aware of a version called NY dub.

Heads are definitely correct to be giving credit to 'sliding' - it is immense. Also worth mentioning is the jaw-dropping introduction to '5ives'. Can't get enough of it.

Both sides are great party starters, and that's what these edits are for. No one would claim they were better than the brilliant source material... they just add some thump for different dancefloors.

Essential Persian here. Regulars will know to expect it nice and crusty, and with plenty of bass to satisfy your speakers. This guy is a legend to those that know. Jacob's dub is particularly joyous, but it's all good.

Something for everyone here from the mighty Reggie Burrell. Some gorgeous vocal jams and then keep going till B2 where you'll find the trackier, bumping vibes of Play, Work, Play. It's all good.

What a talented producer Pooley shows himself to be across both sides of this record. The relaxed, breaky jam 'What's your number' which is even better known in the equally superb Jazzanova remix. Then we have the more tracky, but far from predictable...

Both sides are deep, dubby perfection on a beautifully pressed heavy slab of wax that makes the experience all the sweeter. Enjoy.

Interesting reading the reviews below. I do really enjoy remix I, but I love remix II - it mixes great with UK Garage tracks. And if you're one of those people that loves to slag off UKG, jog on. Mood II Swing were so talented.

Very true. Have always been surprised this isn't one of those hard to find records. Proof that there are great records still obtainable for cheap.

I'm sure this bargain bin record is loved by some. Track A2 'the way you loved me' is a crazy chunk of sampling and slamming beats. Not for everyone, but definitely for me.

The beats on this instrumental hip hop album are so good. I do wish the producer hadn't slapped the 'Bruce Li' sample over the whole record so many times (several times on every beat - why???). It's irritating and distracts from the high quality...

Big Theo fan, but the A side gets the most spins from me. Mr. G hits the spot (sorry) with a deeply hyonotic and enjoyable mix of 'Mike Grant- My Soul, My Spirit'. It could just run and run and I wouldn't tire of it - such elegant simplicity.

Playing it now. Nice fat and flat 7 inch. I'm no audiophile so I can only say I'm very happy with it - loud and clear and bringing a smile to my face. I've bought most of this series and I'm enjoying them a lot.
