Second in the series (if it is a serie, I hope the trend will continue) of Hospital Productions reissues of 90s japanese noise classics. Worthy album, truly a junk noise masterpiece. Great presentation and sound quality too. Vinyls have different colors ... See full review

Apart from terrible remastering maybe there is no great source left? Master tapes could be destroyed.

Another copy with loud pops on side two. I guess it's pressing fault then.

They will do repress (confirmed). Of course it may be another 400 or so, so stay tuned and ready. Also more Merzbow to come :)

Anybody have this already? Any opinions on sound and pressing quality?

Edit: I got it. Single widespine sleeve (not gatefold), insert, thick vinyl. Good sound. A lot of pops on first half of side two (through this loud music passage - as music gets ... See full review

No, it's on side two and it is visible scratch. In couple of days I will have another copy to compare.

I got mine on valentine's day ;) Apart from lack of polyline inner sleeve (it should be mandatory) absolutely flawless reissue. Good job!

Yes it is noisy. Constant hiss that doesn't bother me that much when music plays but it is noticable in quieter parts and between tracks. Couple pops but nothing serious. Rather nice sound quality. Vinyls are flat. Packaging is very simple - no gatefold, ... See full review

My copy has a scratch on side two, I will try to get another copy. Other than that: noticable surface noise but thankfuly almost no clicks and pops. I have CD version also which is better option to be honest...

One of the worst cases of remastering. It hurted my ears :( On the other hand packaging and bonus content is really nice. What a missed opportunity...

No, record sleeves fits in gatefold easily but putting it in/out of slipcase is indeed problematic. It's just too tight.

How did they fit 4 LPs in simple gatefold? Isn't it super tight?

To all of you complaining about format: it was originally like that, whole Broken on one side, side two blank, bonus cover tracks on separate seven inch. Artistic vision.

"Time To Tell" is shortened to about 20 minutes. Similiary "Ritual Awakening" is 11 minutes long and "The Secret Touch" is 8 minutes long. I can't tell what is missing, nothing is cut abruptly, then again I'm not THAT familiar with the album. No "Such Is ... See full review

Please share opinions. Very quiet, minimal album, low level of surface noise and other artefacts would be very appriciated.

No. Mine was flat, no scuffs or scratches (they could use polyline inner sleeve for such edition though) and minimal pops and clicks.

Strange... I got previous pressing on black vinyl and it's absolutely listenable. There are couple of clicks and pops here and there but nothing beyond average. My advice: try to get black vinyl edition or wait for CD.

Cool box, but there are couple problems:
- no original artwork (additional booklet with album covers, liner notes etc would be helpful)
- EP7 divided on two discs
- Untitled track I can't even play on my CD player :(
