Not his best, but Hidden Shadow is probably the illest track on this album, in my opinion. It has a taste of that atmospheric and landscape quality that takes you to another place, which he's so able to create, and is what any Krush head knows and loves.

Want me to tell you something shocking, as a musician? That two beat pattern is the music brought to the united states of America, by the communist conspiracy to corrupt teenagers, and it's in every rock and roll number. It is the old boogie-woogie beat, ... See full review

This group seems to have a machine with a giant button that says, "Make Album" on it. They have far too many clones of ultimately the same songs, when all is said and done. While some of their later works are banal, you can tell that their earlier works ... See full review

Old DJ Cam was fantastic, producing beats, DJing, but I cannot say that his recent work in years is anything more than uninspiring R&B bullshit. I had recently purchased the Remixed album as it had a lot of artists, like Blockhead on it doing remixes, ... See full review

I still don't get how you go from a dope ass album: Fresh Produce, to a solo hootie and the blowfish... How do you go from beathead junkie to slow poprock? Go back.

If Stash only knew how wrong he was when he recorded the voice bit for MiLight. I've been listening to DJ Krush since his first shadow release, luckily enough, and I really wish he'd release another album like this up to at least Jaku. I've been dying ... See full review

Why do I keep seeing this amazing group being marked as "post rock" what the hell is that? What is post rock even supposed to mean? Was there a pre-rock? Did rock die? They're not even rock, they're classical. What is with all these fruity pseudo ... See full review

I have this on vinyl. And regardless of what the other boys say, earlier Bonobo is the best Bonobo - concision and cohesion with great beats and none of the non-stop transition fluff.

Very short, very sweet, very neat beats for the beat junkie. Some should be longer, but that's just not the way it goes. Filled with nostalgia of the break-beat era and the golden age of hip-hop in the early 90's: No new digital synth beats, no big bass ... See full review

I mean, he's pretty good. He's a throw back to DJ Premier, Shadow, Krush, Vadim, and about all of Ninja Tune, and many, many other DJs in the 90's. Even Fat Jon and 40 Winks can be heard in his tracks. That said, if you enjoy any of them, you'll enjoy ... See full review

Between Cloud 9 and now, he seems to have lost his way, lost what he was about, his energy, his substance. The beats sound generic, plastic, and with no remnants of hip-hop beats and more reminiscent of today's shit-hop with 80's hi-hats and bass thuds ... See full review
