After starting buying 45s in the late 1960s, my 1st albums bought in 1968, I am selling about 95% of my "well cared for" private collection. "Get 'em while you can!" Original pressings are hard to find these days, especially in great condition. Most are long gone into private collections...…

Who are all those half naked people in the above banner? They are the Woodstock Nation birthed in August 1969... Exactly 50 years ago, on February 6, 1969, 4 young men in their 20s: Michael Lang (Executive Producer), Artie Kornfeld (Publicity & Subsidiary Rights), John Roberts (Financier), & Joel Rosenman (Administrative Troubleshooter & Advertizing) 1st met to discuss "investment capital" for a recording studio in the small bohemian town of Woodstock, New York, including, as an afterthought, a "press reception / concert party" to promote the future recording studio to be built. That "concert party" turned out to be the most famous rock music festival in the history of the world! The Woodstock Music and Art Fair held Friday August 15th to Monday morning August 18th, 1969. 4 days of peace & music, out in the country, in the rain, in the mud, and in the sunshine! 500,000 strong to a child. A beautiful gathering, once in a lifetime.
