Dollar Bill And His One Man Band - All Messed Up And Down
posted a review of Dollar Bill And His One Man Band - All Messed Up And Down . over 4 years ago
The genius of Dollar Bill is here on this 45. "All Messed Up And Down" is one hell of a song, and it'll still be getting played when we're all dust! The thumping beat, the riffs, the stops, the class vocals...........it's got the bloody lot.

Dollar Bill And His One Man Band - The Juice Ain't Worth The Squeeze
posted a review of Dollar Bill And His One Man Band - The Juice Ain't Worth The Squeeze . over 4 years ago
This 45 was his first release in over 5 years. "Gotta Keep Movin' On" has classic written all over it and deserves worldwide airplay. One of the most atmospheric recordings I've ever heard, and the groove is immense. You don't get 'bulk' from Dollar... See full review

The weird and wonderful band known as Voola & the Jayhawks. Top recordings on both sides engineered and produced by Dave Palmer down at Gold Dust studios. The arrangement of "Temptation" is absolute genius!

Fantastic double 'A' side recording by the late and great Keith Turner, backed by the mighty Southern Sound. Both tracks were recorded in just two takes the Monday after the Rockabilly Rave in 2010. Engineer and producer Dave Palmer, really nailed the... See full review

Chris Farlowe And The Excellos - Tell Me Mama
posted a review of Chris Farlowe And The Excellos - Tell Me Mama. over 5 years ago
The great Chris Farlowe who takes any song and makes it his own. Both tracks were recorded in one take (yes, I know you've heard that old guff before), and it's a testament to how good a band the Excellos were. They're following Chris, but you'd never... See full review
