The guy who put up the files a decade and a half ago on internet had a good laugh. Eq'ed, worked and pitched. This release shows how it really sounds without DJ skills. When properly addressed this release is a killer.

If the record is good it might be that the needle is dirty or worn. Try cleaning the needle with specialized tools and fluids. Or try a different needle. Also check your cables.

They might have recorded the album to DAT (Digital Audio Tape) at the time. Then it depends on the ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) which quality is acquired. If Global Communication used a high quality DAT recorder that might be the reason why it...

Again play on any rpm you want. I'd recommend playing the Garbagemx at 45 rpm.

It's either that Ronald and Ferenc know each other very well, maybe because of the small electro scene in NL or they are the same.

Sometimes it takes a while for me to understand creative outings. E.M.S. is not far off from the usual path, so it seems. But then i realized after a while E.M.S. is ahead in the musical department.

Clearly you were not alive (or spoiled to bits) when this compilation was released. This release made these bands known to people who couldn't listen to them in 1988 before. The emotional connection is also very important.
