In the late 90s, I began collecting limited-edition colored 10" records through friendships with Fu Manchu and subsequently Man's Ruin Records. I collect vinyl from the the Man's Ruin and Palm Desert Scene periphery including Headhunter releases, analog rock and drone recordings generally, less esoteric MPB, and back-catalog recordings from Definitive Jux and New York underground hip-hop artists.

I bought Man's Ruin releases directly from either the label or the bands for the better part of the late 90s and, as far as I can recall, never once saw shrink wrap.

On my copy, "the desert sessions" and the stars on the A side, and the cat on the b side, are light blue. Anyone else have this version?
