In 1988 having grown bored of Northern Soul, I started buying House records on vinyl and making cassettes of these which I spent hours mixing together with the pause button on a cassette recorder. I got my first set of decks in 1989 and since then I have collected records from many different genres of electronic dance music and now have in excess of 3000. Not all are listed here yet but I'm getting there slowly! I used to play in clubs, free parties & on internet and pirate radio many years ago. I've stopped playing my vinyl and clubbing recently as I'm getting on a bit & have different interests, there are a few things I'd never sell (my detroit techno) but most are now open to offers! If you are interested in anything in my collection which is not yet listed for sale, let me know and I'll dig it out, check its condition and then put it up for sale if its not in my never sell list. If you want to buy all of my drum and bass collection a sensible offer will not be turned down!

Contact me for deals on multiple purchases, I need to clear some space and happy to negotiate prices for quantities. I can combine shipping and send via whatever method you want.

Dre's night is a mash up of Dooms Night & Forget about Dre, the other tracks are other mash ups, one is a Jacksons track and I don't recall the others.

All of these tracks are very nicely constructed and easy to mix with. I first heard the A side played by Carl Cox on some mix tape from a (house mix), remember at this time he couldn't make up his mind to play hardcore music or techno, so a house mix was ... See full review

Techno originated in Detroit in the 80s following inspiration from Teutonic works by Kraftwork & the like. Rave was a scene and it absolutely ridiculous to insinuate that cheesy breakbeat is the only UK output... UK fell in love with Chicago House & Acid ... See full review

I have done a mix recently using Electron on Mixcloud - I think that is the stand out track on the EP & is certainly the one I used to play out back in the day.

Techno pounder with an air raid siren in the breakdown. Not for the faint hearted! Featured in a mix I did on Mixcloud recently, see tracklisting for info.

Pretty sure Billy Nasty managed to get this into an Essential Mix in 1994 also :-)

I'd call this an Acid techno track, its kind of a Dave the Drummer style tune with pounding beats and arrangements, breakdowns that you'd find on a squat party tune from London.

The title track isn't the one to head for on this 12, We're Rolling This Way is where its at. This is one of the brilliant ravey techno stabby tracks filled the floor with shirts off sweaty e-heads in 1990 at the places I went to.

Which came first this or Domino by Oxia? Same baseline, same structure, pretty much same tune. This one is fraction of th eprice of that one and I like it more.

I can't quite figure why the date of Part VI is 1992 (which is correct) while the earlier releases on the label I -> V are given as 1993, that doesn't make sense. Anyhow a weird and wonderful underground label from Germany!

Lots of tunes around in 1991 that I thought were brilliant DJ mixing only to find out they were actually one tune with lots of different bits in them. This is one of them, with the ravey stabs, then the piano bit etc. The e's were good, thats all I'm ... See full review

Head to Metrix the Remix for some proper old school hardcore business, first heard this played out by Krome & Time back in the day. Seemed to fit right in nicely with Mr Times vocals!

The tracks featured on this album are worth a fortune individually, this has to be a decent value album, the pressings I own are decent. At most you get 3 tunes on a side so the levels are good.

This was absolutely cained by DJ Krome & Mr. Time back in the day at the Empire club in Bognor Regis. Lovely use of the Landlord synth rift, kicking breaks, to 92 tune.

The remix of Brazil is the one I remember from those crazy days, sure the original was ok but this is proper banging rave, the breaks and the build ups etc. This is the beginnings of the hardcore sounds a year or so later. Top tune

I remember being at Central Park in Portsmouth when Carl Cox played all three of the tracks on this EP during the night, I think he may have had two copies and mixed them into each other. I can't quite remember it was a messy night!

Forget about Autobiography of a Crackhead, whilst its okay its nothing compared to the raw edged breakbeat rave madness on the flip side. The Green Man was a favorite of Carl Cox's and many other 'big name' DJ's for many months. Highly recommended.

Luke Slater's track was in Laurent Garnier's box for ages. The Mike Ink track is good but not his best. Four great techno artists on one ep, great value for money!
