The alternate/original artwork is what’s on the vinyl sleeves inside the box. It’s more likely that Ape House knew a cover that 90% of the album’s owners know best would be an easier sell than the alternative.

I believe it's because the earlier releases have been made available individually in the Vault online store, so can be recorded as separate entries under the guidelines, while the more recent ones have remained only available in the original bundled...

Much as I enjoy this album, I am always surprised that it never appears in those lists called something like The Worst Album Art Of All Time. It's absolutely awful.

Is the new LP reissue of this just the old pressing, or are there any differences? I can imagine there’s a bit of fatigue going on with entering these new versions in Discogs.
