TOB! ET !GNI
As the romans once said "Ut salutas, ita salutaberis", thus i will tolerate you as long, as you can stand my character. What can say about me? Welp, i am a pretentious dumb dumb with an open-minded worldview and, believe it or not, humanistic ideals. I am surprisingly obsessed with different forms of art - simultaneously sophisticated gamer, goth, velvet punk, at times guilty pleasure appreciator (yeah, i like Night Club, Priest and Skold).

When it comes to music i tend to stick to the art of Dionysian principles. Melancholy and non-conformism are part of my second identity, but overall i think i prefer mostly alternative forms of music, even it's underground samples. Don't believe in any cults, idols or genre constraints, though, obviously, i dig all things goth too much.

Audio quality-wise i'd say, that i am pretty interested in all of these audiophile nuances, but with healthy dose of skepticism. Usually prefer how vinyl sounds (especially if it's 12'' or properly adapted from an analogue source), also love the aesthetics surrounding it, however consider it primarily a snake oil - just a capitalistic trick to force you pay more, it's not necessarily a bad thing, because if you adore not well-khown musicians you might want to perpetuate their work with this form of ritual. Besides, i simply don't trust CDs due to their infamous compression (yeah, even think this way nowadays), and, since you can obtain CD-Quality digitally any time, what's the point in it really? So i constantly range my music from vinyl, to CDs, Hi-Res or any other digital types.

I believe in indie stuff much more, so i also try to find niche artists which are appealing to me, meaning that my tastes won't be your seal of approval every time. That's no good, nor it is bad, depending on how close-minded you are to my gun. Either way, feel free to evade me.

Let me get this straight - Valleyheart is a competently crafted piece of music, moreover it's not awful by any means (sound-wise at least). But, sadly, it's an obvious 360 degree turn from the previous works the band was so valuable for! The following... See full review

There is some value to be had in this Promo CD for anyone who is not indifferent in regards to industrial and punk. First of all, it's the only Skold's release with the "All Dies" song which is a very essential piece of controversial art by itself.... See full review

It boggles my mind that even the Bauhaus fans at times ignore this wonderful side project by Daniel Ash (their ex-guitar player), Glenn Campling and Kevin Haskins. It's a tightly constructed, passionately played and enthrallingly executed one of a... See full review

A traditional punk album with an industrial cherry on top. I mean... it's mostly a guilty pleasure, especially if you compare them with the old albums by Skold and some of the newer ones which are mostly good. If you are sophisticated it will seem to... See full review

Literally "no words" case scenario. Probably the most amazing indie band i've stumbled upon this decade. Absolute master class of a multilayered poetry, elegant mixing of different music styles at once and progressive growth of the band's sound. Plus... See full review

Though i am the last person on Earth who would be caught listening to pop - meaning won't be caught at all - i can't resist to adore this puppet master of manikins. From budgety, yet tasty, music clips and artistic look to sheer elegance of his rich... See full review

Each song by this collective soaks me into cultural shock. Such kind of brilliance can happen once comet fall. Absolutely mesmerizing bland of neoclassic, darkwave, rock and even synths. You can tell, that all of the songs are deliberately thought-out... See full review

What can i say?! It's amazing to see Keluar's clone. I hope this band will evolve past that in the nearest future, otherwise it's already a very solid coldwave, though their sound doesn't do wonders at the moment.

Wow. This is one of the most unfortunate bands from the 90's indeed. Maybe Garbage stole the spotlight light from them, but it won't deny Curve's awesomeness. This band was (and still is) a definition of an alternative rock. Their music combines... See full review
