A big fan of electronic music - synthpop, minimal, electro, italo disco, EBM, Hi NRG, eurodisco etc... From time to time I get requests about selling records from my collection... the chance is likely zero I will do that.

Pretty cheap of Mute to not include these tracks in the box.

This is a great synthpop album. Maybe not as edgy and raw as Digital Stimulation, but that's not an issue in my book. "New Way To Move" and "The Right Man" are two great pieces of synthetic pop for example. The only problem, it's way to short. Would love ... See full review

"Venezuela", yeah right... Feels more like yet another russian bootleg sold way to expensive.

Considering all the great music Moev had made in the past, this was a pretty boring comeback in the late 90ies.

It's such a shame that this great album havn't been released on CD. It deserves better than to just end up on vinyl...

"Push" and "Make A Device" are killer tunes one reviewer claims, which is definitely true... But I would like to say that EACH TRACK on this album are killer tunes! There really aren't any weak spots to be found here. A must have if you're into classic ... See full review

Yet another Russian bootleg one can assume, portioned out in small quantities from time to time, so the prices can remain high...

That is the first edition, before Winnerbäck was signed to a major label. You should add it as a seperat release here.

Nice to see this album finally being re-released on CD. To bad they didn't keep the original album cover though, which is a lot nicer than the new boring version. And btw, why not some bonus tracks aswell...?

Great album from start to finish, very atmospheric and moody. There is definitely nothing cheesy about this music. A "wunderbar" album altogether.

According to the compilation "Echoes Down The Hall", the version of "Take Off Your Clothes" on the this CD is taken from the second 7" of "Take Off Your Clothes", which must be this one. The lenght of this version is also nearly the same as the one ... See full review

"Dance-pop, New Wave, Techno, Electro" - Why make it so difficult when it comes to trying to describe the music on this singel??? It's actually quit easy... synthpop! And perfect such also.
posted a comment on Dazequasar - The Glow-Era. over 2 years ago
Okay, the music is actually quit enjoyable here. EBM flavoured danceable synthpop I guess one can describe it as. But... unfortunately it gets ruined by the vocals, which are so out of tune most of the time.

Beware! I just purchased a copy of this, and it was a CDR. It was new, sealed and I purchased it from a respectable retail seller. It's really bad when a major label like EMI releases CDR copies. :/
posted a comment on Ludox - Audience. over 3 years ago
While "Audience" and "Photogenic" are both quit typical mid 90ies indiepop, "Hey Dj! (at The Youth Club)" is a perfect little number, reminding a lot of the early 80ies synthpop from the UK.

IMO, this maxi contains one of the best tracks Dive released; "Waiting And Burning". I don't understand why Dirk Ivens chosed it as a "b-side" since it's a lot better than "Two Faced Man". Anyway, a great blend of industrial, minimal and synthpop(!).

It would have been a lot more fantastic if they had included the original version of "Close". I still think they should have let the buyer know it wasn't the original version included.

Quit a nice compilation, especially the later half of it, from track 11. Some really good minimal tracks. BUT, and that is a big BUT... why did they not include "All The Sad Goodbyes"???. That is the only track missing (as I can see) from the 1980 LP ... See full review

This really could have been such a great album if they had included the single version of "Close"... but instead they include a crappy dance-remix of it... so so sad
