Started buying dance/disco/hiphop/freestyle records in 1988 (when I was 14). Infected by my 3 year older brothers' passion for artists like Donna Summer/Giorgio Moroder and Shannon.

Listening to radio stations like Amsterdam-fm. From there hearing HOUSE music for the first time! My eyes were opened in 1989/1990 with the Jack Trax album series. I hired all the albums (yes really like books!) and recorded them on tape. Listening to Fingers Inc’s ‘Another Side’ when I was a just a paperboy.

Played those tapes over and over again creating a deep passion for house music that rooted deeper and deeper when I started clubbing in Amsterdam. Member of the famous RoXY club while I was 17 (under age, but they never asked...). Infected again by the music of Dutch DJ’s like Dimitri and Joost van Bellen.

With over 25 years of listening and 20 years of clubbing experience, my taste for music evolves not that much. Still having much passion for the records and the music of all the legendary artist from then and now, like Larry Heard, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, UR, Blake Baxter, Detroit In Effect, Keith Tucker, B12, Andrew Weatherall, Massive Attack, UNKLE, Saint Etienne, Portishead, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Giorgio Moroder, Gino Soccio, Egyptian Lover, Jamie Jupitor, RZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Santigold, Lonnie Liston Smith, Isaac Hayes, Donald Byrd, Pretty Tony, Jonzun Crew, Hell, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, ADULT., Johnny Jewel, Chromatics, Glass Candy, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, Umwelt, Minimum Syndicat and so on and on...

Still buying good electronic dance music on vinyl and always keeping the records clean for everlasting listening pleasure! Respect the precious vinyl people (not even a fingerprint! you will regret it later) .
Tell your kids what a record player is. Buy a MP3 player just for travelling. Don’t be cheap with your audio system at home. Buy vinyl!

Good questions. Looking to the title and runouts I think it's the track A Relic Long Ago (from the Innovator 5LP compilation), but speculating here. Can somebody shed a light on this? Thanks

Rite of Purity brings you back to the fantastic New Beat period, with psychedelic rave sounds, a dark dancefloor, rotating disco lights and stroboscopes. Terrific release by Fiero !

this gold vinyl sounds pretty good, a tiny bit compressed maybe but it goes very well with Ian Brown's voice. I think you won't regret it, but I cannot compare it to the original release.

Dark Entries is gettin better and better. This must be one of the best 12" of 2018. Everything is right here: the timeless music, the great pressing, the beautiful packaging. This 2nd volume is even better than the 1st. I wonder why the uptempo track ... See full review

I always liked the Archived series the most from all the different FSOL offshoots. And this number 8 is a beauty, and it's on vinyl! Highlights for me are on the B-side: Still Motion and Plazmatical. Pure creativity.

This was a very big club hit in The RoXY (Amsterdam) thanks to Dimitri in 1991. The slightly hollow mid-tones sounded amazing on the wooden dancefloor with the acoustic of the church/cinema styled building. A very unique record and made with lots of ... See full review
