Finally landed a clean UK 1st because of course I needed to have an OG of one of the best punk albums ever made.
I’d actually passed it up once before due to its notoriously “awful” mixing.
I gotta say tho…I don’t think it sounds nearly as bad as... See full review

Hopefully ppl listened to your advice. It’s getting up there now. Extremely glad I grabbed it for $70 or whatever it was when it was retail. It was quite a bit even then, but I knew it would be worth every penny (and then some) and it absolutely was.

Just wanted to echo the other replies. Optimal is one of the best plants. No issues with my clear vinyl copy whatsoever.

Came here to say just the same. I have a couple as well. The “Where are they now?” certainly seems to have been put there much later during a period where they were all but forgotten.

Not quite fair to use a bootleg as your comparison. Try the color cover, pink label ‘67 Immediate pressing. Sounds great.

Haha you’re so right. At least it’s not one of those ten thousand word essays by Jenelle Kessler or whoever it is always giving ridiculously overblown unpopular opinions just for the sake of being cool it feels.

Only 3000 of these? With 12 retailers in 12 countries carrying these, that’s highly unlikely. 3000 per country even is too low.

Maybe it’s just because the cover is so iconic at this point, but I think it’s perfect. Absolutely love the colors, the font, and the photo is somehow very psychedelic to me…one turned sideways, the striped shirt and sunglasses, and the way he’s... See full review

Very well explained about the Mono fold down. In almost all cases, Mono promos after 1969 were all fold downs…there are some exceptions- notably Paul McCartney - RAM got a dedicated Mono mix for the promo.

I mean, Permanent Waves is kinda up there too in my opinion anyway. Lol

The only “picture disc” I have or even would want in my collection. Funny xanny bar shape, great tracks. Got mine signed by Danny at Fools Gold street fest years ago.

First off, this is a dream come true. The entire concert on vinyl at last! I am over the moon that they did this. It sounds fantastic and the booklet is great. That aside…both discs came dish warped (thankfully that doesn’t affect play) likely due to... See full review

I had the same scuffy problem with disc one side two. Looks kinda awful but thankfully doesn’t sound. Plays great. Both discs are dish warped too of course. Other than that…dream come true release. :/

Indeed the first pressing does not have the S-18688/9 etchings, and an even easier way to tell at first glance is the size of the pressing ring on the labels. It’s much smaller on the second pressing. Check the photos on both listings and you’ll see.

Idk. Call me crazy, but to fix the annoying hard pans in the Stereo mixes which were essentially a rushed afterthought not involving the band themselves…only improves upon it.
