Probably because it’s a German production, even M. Siciliano is German(-based) euro disco star Del Faro.

I don’t know why this exists but it’s cute. Very nice and rare picture sleeve only used on the original Italian 7” before.

This is interesting with the German copyright information, was it made for export into (East) Germany?

I kinda presume they just put their catalog (and sometimes other people’s) on shuffle to compile these. That or because of the ANV, they thought it was a different song lol. Is the mastering the same? I don’t have either to check...

The ZYX version at least has new remixes included, much more worth it than this version, even when it was released.

The Opilec copies do not exist yet. I’m pretty sure they are saying that anything not on Opilec, like this one, is pirate. To me it’s clear they are saying all official versions so far are the first press from 1985.

Urgh, this is getting sad now. I know the original label name was Bootlegs but this is getting increasingly meta. What happened to the official reissue of this that was meant to come out on Opilec (I think?) Or the Reale Accademia album for that matter?

Cover version (in house style with new lyrics) of Karl Olives - Follow Me on the A-side, and presumably Eros Ramazzotti on the B.

Take Me To The City is only on this version of the album, and is possibly the best thing they ever did. Cheesy as hell, sexual references, annoying vocal hooks...eurodance PERFECTION.

I’ve just purchased no. 1003 new from Amazon, so it seems they’re limited-ish. I would guess there are 2000, but I don’t think it sold great. Shame, cos it’s a beautiful package. Maybe they’ll bring it back this year...
