This is a holy grail record amongst collectors of UK garage. 'On Me (Mind Body & Soul Mix)' was reissued on this label with DJ Bigga G credited as the artist, and that tune has had a further lease of life and found a wider audience since then, being... See full review

This sounds veeeery much like you're describing your own experiences and relationship with this music, rather than anybody else's

Yeah I was surprised to read that as well. I've always loved the track 'Studio 2' since I first heard it. That said, I think I prefer their other EP on Redskin overall, all three tunes on that are very strong

Just to note that my copy isn't stamped, and there's no catalogue number in the run-out grooves... only way I was able to find it on here was by typing the run-out etchings into the search bar!

Superb release and I'd be intrigued to know who made it

This is easily the best pressing of Spacer Woman - better than the original Mr Disc pressing, and far superior to the awful 'remaster'

Sublime release. I bought this primarily for Submarine Tune, and it is an epic tune that I can happily listen to from start to finish, but I'm really enjoying Living Without You as well, a smoothed out roller that is a lot of fun to mix with

This album is so underrated. I can't believe this guy seemingly disappeared from the scene after this, such a shame

I don't think so, but he put out another record by them and I've heard him play their tunes in his live shows

Correct it yourself - that's the whole point of Discogs, it relies on user submissions / contributions

I got an e-mail from Okbron a couple of days ago saying it's been dispatched (I ordered from their Bandcamp). Hopefully will arrive any day now.

Edit: being shipped from Russia, I live in the UK, so I guess it will take a little while... still not... See full review

It's super rare, I think they only gave it out to people they knew.
But it's also not very good.

Magick is the one for me. There's a certain tension in this tune that's pretty special. The bass gets really low, it's not for the faint-hearted

Bakground's trademark is super lofi, saturated breaks and bass. I personally love it

That is the only version of the release. Two of the tunes listed (A1 and A3) are actually samples of movie quotes that lead into the actual tunes (A2 and A4)

If I recall correctly, years and years ago a 'friend' of Coki's ripped some dubplates that Coki left at his place and uploaded them to YouTube. My memory is failing me now but I think Lucifer was one of them. Perhaps DubstepClassics ripped that from... See full review

'A Partridge' is not a new song by any means. It's from the mid 2000s. They just tend to post it every Christmas on their social media channels

it would be nice that these so called "real hip hop heads" would pay for the right to reissue these tracks...but they don't...they also probably defend paedos like bumbaataa

I'm relieved to report that my copy plays perfectly fine, after the nightmare I had with the recent Leftlow and Headland plates. Didn't skip on either side for me. For what it's worth, I got my copy from redeyerecords rather than direct from System,... See full review

It takes a few weeks or so to show up in the history.

I could be wrong, but I believe (possibly both buyer and seller) need to have left feedback as well.

I also bought a copy on here. The median always seems to dictate... See full review

[quote=Pistachios] It's always a bad feeling to get a poorly pressed record. Have you tried returning for a replacement? I know that often you get them same issues across a whole press, but every now and again you get variation within a pressing. Mine... See full review

I went to uni with the guy who wrote that review for The Guardian. He was (unsurprisingly) an upper-middle class indie kid, so of course this album wasn't going to resonate with him

I just can't agree with that I'm afraid. Nebula is just getting better and better as a producer. His 3 releases on Sci Wax this year in my opinion is the best material he's put out. Although I do agree that Kawai Bliss is the highlight of this EP

Yep I'm with you on this one, A1 and B2 are the standouts here, and are in the style you'd expect from a TW release, that is to say tasteful edits of trance classics with breakbeats replacing the drums from the originals. I'm not against 4x4 stuff by... See full review

The mastering on this pressing is absolutely superb considering the lofi nature of these tunes, the bass is extremely weighty and clear, and the drums are snappy. The tunes are of course excellent; 1993 was a year of great experimentation before... See full review

If sound quality is your top priority, in my view it would be best to play it safe and listen to the uncompressed digital files. Any vinyl version is unlikely to sound as good, even if it's a good pressing this time. I will probably pick up the new... See full review

I'm kind of interested to hear how 'D Rose' sounds on this pressing, given that the digital version is just about the undynamic, pushed into the red song I've ever heard. I think it must have been a nightmare for the mastering engineer
