It would be nice if someone who can read Japanese, or knows what's on this, could update the videos on here. Its impossible to figure out what is on this soundtrack vs. the other two for the movie. I can't seem to find an accurate representation ... See full review

I suspect this has went back to press a number of times recently, and getting a bad pressing is less likely, though some older ones may be floating around, due to this fact: Through The Looking Glass became the No. 2-selling album at the online retailer ... See full review

I find this press sounds very thin and tinny on the high end compared to my US world pacific, which has much greater bottom end and fullness to it. It does something to his lower tone voice I don't like. There is also some reverb added that is annoying.

The closest album to this (after the other two of Doheny's early albums which are also awesome) is another blue eyed soul brother Bobby Caldwell. His first record is probably as equally unknown by most as this album (and almost equally celebrated by ... See full review

What is this BS release? Somebody selling on amazon makes a CD from a digitized record? That is not a release worthy of being listed here on the cogs.

I think this is a great album that perfectly captures the times. The 80's started getting really weird and artsy from '82 to '86, and lots of bands just got really experimental with the mash-up of influences going on. Blue Moon on Monday to me is their ... See full review

Any word on how this press sounds? The newer repress doesn't seem legit since Bamboo label hasn't existed for a long time. I'm not sure how well done Luv 'n hate represses are. Well mastered for vinyl Lp, or levels sound like it was meant to be on CD?

I agree with the other review. This record is great. In that vein of well orchestrated soul funk jazz Lps like David Axelrod's Song of Innocence. It's the only Quincy I deemed a must have, and you need at least one Quincy. Cheap too.
