I really enjoy this release. A lot of energy and Muddy's vocals really shine! I don't have a 1st press but likely the best you will hear of this album. Thanks Mr. Gray!

I paid $53....out the door. I feel I paid more, but not getting scalped.

The odds are, this is the same pressing as the U.S release. Mine has a U.S. jacket, but the record label says "made in EU"

One answer..... Analogue productions 45rpm. Yeah pricey, but the best these albums will ever sound. However, I'm curious how they sound versus the recent Mono releases.

Pallas, overall is a good plant. I'm guessing they shrinkwrapped these while the record was still in the cooling phase and the bonus material contributed to the warping. It's clear the people in charge of these releases are not "record" people, likely ... See full review

Well i guess to answer my own question, No. If this is the 'original" mix, it should be a different mastering than the previous vinyl release.

Can anyone confirm if this is a new remaster or pressed from the same lacquers as the last reissue (2014?)

I agree the two i have sound great (one is this one, other is JAZZ) Luckily, the reissue series has been imported well so copies stateside aren't hard to find.

Definitely clean the record! Pressing plants aren't the cleanest factories and debris will likely get on the records (small enough to affect the stylus.) I recommend playing it around 8 hours after a hot/cold cleaning to reduce static. I've noticed ... See full review

Excited to hear the new 2 LP reissue coming out in December 07. Unlike the original, the original studio tracks will be spread out among 3 sides instead of 2. I really hope this eases a lot of the sibilance i've heard on other pressings (hoping new "all ... See full review

It's only pricey because it "was" the only legitimate vinyl release of this album until now. Chris Bellman mastered this release (2017) so I would put my money on it IMO.

There is a Netherlands (HOLLAND) pressing from 1993....you probably have that release.

Yes, QRP was used for the pressing plant for the 2017 reissue

Limited in this instance really only means they won't repress in this color....no rule on how many they initially pressed (generally pressed according to pre-order demand..which was HIGH!)

It will most likely have the same "matrix" in the deadwax so a separate listing would be unnecessary.

Yeah, mine was signed by all the members, plus it's hard to complain...they sold it for MSRP.

According to a statement from Bong Load, the marbled vinyl has a tendency to cool at different rates which can result in issue with non fill.

This has to be the dumbest thing i've read on Discogs. A cranberry is a fruit, not a color. The color of a Cranberry is RED. It might be a distinctive shade of red, but still nonetheless...red.

i compared as well with the UK 2LP and the images on the jacket are significantly clearer. I would differ with you in the sound category. Sonically, i feel they sound fairly similar with a slight edge to the double LP. Maybe just because they didn't cram ... See full review

I'm guessing 1500 for the U.S. based on the abundance of international sellers. It seem a lot of the major retailers only got a few copies and very few are selling for "retail" price on eBay. It's quite possible to be out of print by years end if 1500 is ... See full review

I find it odd they pressed at GZ considering this release is not available the EU. There are many decent plants in the U.S. they could have used (QRP, RTI, Pallas-USA).

Couldn't agree more. Not as dynamic as the AP release by Kevin Gray, but I feel Grundman understood her vocals would likely distort if not handled with care and had to make some sacrifices. We can all hope for a Mofi ONe-step in the future, Ok I can ... See full review

Yeah, the vocals are a little hot in spots. I'm thinking the distortion is my cart not being on the higher end and cannot handle the "energy" of those vocals. Hopefully AP release is as 45rpm, that could possibly clear it up for most of us.....a Mofi ... See full review

So now that it's US, UK, AND EUROPE it's safe to say Rainbo is no longer pressing Radiohead XL releases. I was always under the impression Rainbo pressed for US and Optimal for UK/EUROPE.
