I fell in love with dance music in 1994 as a freshman in college and have been collecting vinyl and DJing ever since.

My first love was Chicago house, but now I collect and play almost everything. From house to techno, breakbeats, disco, drum-n-bass, trance, electro...you get the picture!

If you have any questions about anything in my collection, feel free to ask. Some of the stuff is for sale, and I would be very interested in anything you may have from my wantlist.

However - I am only interested in buying direct. PLEASE - do not e-mail me if you are listing something on ebay.

This is a classic dark house track from Blake Baxter. I was fortunate enough to pick up a copy in NM condition this past weekend and am loving it. It is dark and sexy, a pumping classic techno/house/acid track from 1992. If you like good classic house / ... See full review

This is actually supposed to be a house track, which when played at the correct speed of 33 1/3 is horrible. However, switch the speed to 45, then pitch it down to about -6 and tadaa! A pretty damn good happy hardcore sounding track. If you're not a fan ... See full review

This record is definitely a trance classic. All of the mixes are great, but the Ferry Corsten remix was probably the most popular. That mix was featured in the movie Groove, and can also be found on the soundtrack. Very uplifting, epic trance without ... See full review

Nice classic disco track here. 'Send Me Forget Me Nots' was sampled extensively for Will Smith's 'Men In Black' song. The backing music is the entire music from this song, with a beefed up kick drum. His vocals even sound similar to the lyrics from this ... See full review

This is a true breakbeat classic, and one of the first records I ever owned. The vocal samples are from the original Star Trek series, "Mr. Kirk" "Yes" "I've got some bad news" "Your son is dead" "He died of an overdose" "Energize" It also samples the ... See full review

A very nice classic disco sound. The extended version has a great percussive breakdown and the record features some neat synth work along with good horn programming. The female vocals are very good.

Classic gay disco LP here, Maco Man was one of the Village People's biggest club hits. My copy of this LP has all the correct tracks on it, but they put the label for side 1 on both sides of the record. The two songs on side 1 are blended together, while ... See full review

This is a great collection of some of Sylvester's later material that was released on Megatone. All very high energy disco classics. This isn't a "greatest hits" because Megatone only released his later material. His most recognizable track, "You Make Me ... See full review

These tracks definitely convey part of Cajmere's Green Velvet personality with the chunky, techy beats and playful lyrics. The title track features the capmy lyrics, "Feelin' like a woman, lookin' like a man." On the flip side, Electric is a fairly ... See full review

This is a 12" of two dub re-workings of 'Situation' by Yaz. Decent production, and they use a good deal of the original synth line, but because the vocal never comes in, it just feels like it is lacking something.

One of my favorite house records of all time. I love most of DJ Pierre's production and remix work, but this one takes the cake. Wonderful building, driving, percussive house beats capped off with some uplifting saxophone. Not to mention the sultry ... See full review

This is a great uplifting house record. With this release, Kathy Brown beuatifully showcases what many may call 'diva' style vocals. Both mixes are top notch. I love to include this track in early morning happy house sets.

This is a great house record that I was introduced to by a Scott Henry mix CD. It takes elements from the Martin Luther King Jr. "I have a dream" speech and incorporates them into the track. Also included on this 12" is the part of the speech itself as ... See full review
