My collection is composed mostly of losslessly encoded digital files (.wav or .flac) either ripped personally from hard copies (using a Plextor Premium CD-RW, Lite-On iHBS112 and optimally configured EAC) or downloaded officially via label webstores. All files are tagged by hand with the most accurate metadata I can gather. The cover art is saved as high resolution .tif files scanned from originals using Canonscan 5600F or the highest quality .jpeg of the cover art I can find.
If you're as obsessive as me, I may be interested in some trades!

Stephen James Wilkinson is one of the most talented and versatile producers working today. On a dime he transitions from folk-ambient to IDM-inflected 1970s funk to looping drone, and always with aplomb and a consummate attention to detail suggesting a ... See full review

This track is f*cking perfection, absolutely one of the most apt distillations of RDJ's genius. All the more mind numbing that he held off releasing it for all these years! I just cannot get enough of it.

The Weatherall Dub Mix appears to cut short on this Bandcamp Download version compared to the vinyl. It must've been a upload error. Hoping this gets rectified.
EDIT: It's been fixed now as of 10/08/17, thanks Triassic!

Excellent LP from ADULT. & their array of collaborators. It's very refreshing to hear the distinct ADULT. aesthetic altered and reinterpreted by other highly idiomatic artists and, as is the case with any compelling collab project, the listener feels ... See full review

Beautiful & uplifting LP from ADULT. Nicola's lyrics are sardonic as ever but here are counterbalanced by the unabashedly lush melodic content ('A Day Like Forever') and polished production compared to past LPs. 'Nothing Lasts' is particularly brilliant ... See full review

Isn't this fellow's output when viewed in its aggregate already one big 'cover' or 'remix' of BoC's aesthetic? Oh wait, there's a more apt descriptor for that and it is 'Rip-off Artist'. Worse still many, if not all of these tracks are not even his own; ... See full review

I compared some of the original issue wavs (mostly Split era) with those of the Chorus box in Audacity. The original issues have a dB or two additional of headroom but the wavs themselves appear identical otherwise. This came as a relief as these records ... See full review

As ever I am left scratching my head as to how Burial makes his compositional decisions; as in, how to place *what* *where*, add this sample over *here*, etc. I mean, I suppose one could wonder the same of any music but these more recent Burial 'vignette ... See full review

For reasons not entirely understood 'A Long Way To Fall' isn't generally held in as high a regard as other LPs in Ulrich's back catalog. The album forgoes aspects of the Shoegazer aesthetic so enthusiastically espoused by the past two LPs for a more ... See full review

Some of the very best music that the IDM Netlabel boom of the mid 2000's ever spurred into being. Tracks like Old Haunts, 2tatis and 90 Summer are pinnacles of left field electronic composition. We are very lucky to have most of his peerless catalog ... See full review
