Hi lastmonkeyleft, Simply Red released MTT in spring '85, the song itself is the cover of Valentine Brothers' original 1982 track. Ironically the keyboard intro of MTT is identically the same as Heatwave's "Big Guns".

The release date must be early to mid 90's; in 1982 cd format was doubtlessly unavaliable for Turkish consumer market. In fact, the very first album ever pressed on cd was dated back to 1987.

Mr. Ira Siegel (one of the key members of the Kashif's studio team) definitely added some cool guitar riffs into this top quality synth-laden (Linn Drum) boogie tune! What I call this is a real piece of dance music, but man those crispy riffs! Damn! 5/5
