Quite underrated record. Abstract, dry & funky mid-90-techno. Signature track by Sven Väth back then.

Definitely one of Stephan Laubner's best works in my opinion.

Was a huge signature track of Sven Väth in 1994. Spreads way more free-spirit-attitude and out-of-the-box-thinking than many music that is beeing produced today.

Interesting details: In the 90's Ricardo Villalobos already played this record and years later still nobody was interested in this EP, because of it's rarity. I remember that the Hardwax Saarbrücken had copies of this record for years and nobody bought them. See full review

Best track on this EP is 'return'. It drives smooth and kicks not too hard. But pleasing intensive.

This is fuckin' great energy! An endless journey through the digital wild west! Fast, wild and loud! Maximum acid power, but never too hard! A very intensive, but wholesome trip, you´ll never forget.

'Iz It Luv' is so deep! And absolutely made for the terrace. Really beautiful, groovy music, not too housy although it´s too housy for a few people, especially for all the 'pseudo-minimal-people' from to today, who like their music with a light... See full review

The best thing you could do is to listen to this song and at the same time to whatch the famous picture from 1993 with Sven Väth wearing a gasmask during his performance. Then you may understand what energy in this track is. OK, it´s basically a kind... See full review

The really outstanding thing on this EP is the Free-Remix of 'Crossing Mars'! If the Mars is that beautiful like this track is, I´d like to own a house there with a huge space-balcony there! This track is not pressed in a very loud quality on this... See full review

This is really funny, I remember that in 1995 in a magazine was written that the labes were confused, so that would mean, that the one track all the people love is not break night, but ocean. No matter, this track is one of the most popular house... See full review

If anybody has to name a track, that brings the 100%-positive energy of the feeling, that took place during the german techno-acid-house-trance-time in the 90's, on the point, he should take 'Murdoch Most Foul' from this EP. This one is such a classic... See full review

This seems to be a really rare record, I´ve never seen it before. This is maybe the only release of 'Ein Blick ins Nichts' by Rob Acid. Even the co-owner of Rob Acid´s label Junkfood couldn´t remember that this track exists on vinyl!
Ricardo Villalobos

This is very sadly to say, but the older releases of Ricardo like 'Bosch', 'Say that you love me' or his remix of '2834' have much more groove like most ones of his current productions.
