This is being reissued by BBE in November as a double LP, so hopefully it will sound as good as the Wax Poetics version.

This is a great album. It's not an At The Drive In album, and how could it be? they ceased to exist nearly 20 years ago, and is much closer to the Antemasque album but with a harder edge. Just put it on, shout the choruses and be glad they're all still ... See full review

The LP is pretty average, but it's worth picking up for the glorious Sunshine On My Shoulders cover.

The record sounds fine, maybe needs a bit of treble, but the source material is very lo-fi anyway. I haven't heard any of the other versions to compare it to, only the youtube mp3s and who can say how accurate they are?

From Companion Records.."The files are now at Golden mastering and we are on course for a Summer release. This will be a 2 disc release with same songs as original, one 45rpm and the other 33, with some kind of gold embossed sleeve set up."

Great sound quality and mix, a lot cleaner and clearer than the original, pluses and minuses :) Sounds weird hearing all these new/old parts that were buried on the original pressing. Into The Storm feels like a new song, the end being almost totally ... See full review

The LP's of the reissue are in those awful pvc sleeves that cause outgassing, make sure you remove them right away! Why Peacefrog why?

An astonishing life affirming record that encompasses the remaining songs from Éthiopiques 21 : Piano Solo. The first 5 tracks tracks from Piano Solo were on the Spielt Eigene Kompositionen release form 2012.
